    jTWG XIX - The Night Before jTWG

    T'was the night before jTWG,
    And all through the forum,
    PMs were sent out,
    No one could ignore 'em.

    Two wolves in the mix,
    With a psychic and a seer.
    Six humans out there
    Waiting in fear.

    With a lot of new faces,
    And some of the same,
    This could quite possibly
    Be an interesting game.

    A voice shouted to them,
    "Be active this game!"
    And though I cannot ban them,
    Tass would do the same.

    So go on, jTWGers,
    Out into the thread.
    Wishing after all's done,
    You're not the one dead.

      T'was the start of Day 1,
      And bolded was the thread.
      Everyone anxiously looked
      To see who was dead.

      Could it be the seer or psychic?
      You would lose much help.
      Or maybe a dumb wolf
      Just wolfed himself.

      No matter the former,
      The latter's the matter,
      To see Observer dead,
      In a bowl of cake batter.

      Two days and some more,
      Is your allotted time
      To make a majority lynch,
      By Tuesday at 9.

      This is the fifth stanza,
      To keep up with the rhyme.
      It has no purpose;
      Maybe I'll use it next time.

              Right, we have three days to get this right. Observer is an interesting kill, i don't remember him playing for a while, but when he did, i remember him being fairly helpful and useful. This leads me to think it is someone who has played in a few jTWGs. Vash and chicken spring to mind, but then again, i could be entirely wrong.

                      Nah i doubt that very much, i think wilkin means the wolves are the matter in hand at the moment.

                                  I was also under the impression that wolves could not wolf each other. Different set of rules perhaps?

                                      Oh, "The former" probably means "everything I said before this" and "the latter" probably means, "What I'm about to say is what happened." Yay for confusion induced by need to rhyme.

                                      Regardless, Observer strikes me as a strange kill. It occurs to me that the fact that his manner of posting comes across as being smart, and apparantly he has done well in prior TWGs, which brings forth a few possibilities:

                                      1) The wolves are TWG vets that remember how well he's done.
                                      2) The wolves are TWG nubs that picked Observer because he seems smart on the boards.

                                      This really doesn't close many doors and may not be right, but it's still the first day, and watching the discussion closely tends to be the best thing to start finding wolves from at this point anyway.

                                                  Clarification: Wolves *CAN* wolf each other. I guarantee that, it's happened a few times at FFR.

                                                      I'm going to go with Tokzic on this one. But still, how is there any advantage in wolfing a wolf? That would be a really big disadvantage, especially since there are only two wolves in this game. If that were true, however, then the other wolf would most likely be a noob. I can see a fragment of strategy in wolfing 1 noob wolf out of three, but with only two wolves, it's pointless.

                                                      BTW, I'm not on AIM most of the time, so I might not be in some of the chats.

                                                          I don't even know why you guys are discussing if it's possible to wolf another wolf in a two wolf game. That's silly. It's also round one, the only thing it would do is throw extremely slight suspicion on the vets.
