Requesting a "fail off" option so I can warm up and keep playing even if songs contains very hard sections. (see certain songs in alternative engines)

I'd like to see a random mod implemented in the R^3 engine which scrambles the arrows so that none of them force any jacks under 3 frames. The current random mod is too hard/unstable for players, while the scramble mod makes things too easy at times (see: AIM Anthem anchors --> jumptrills). This would be amazing for players looking to clear up their bad habits while still providing some sense of trickiness for them.

My 2 suggestions:

1: in MP, when someone PM's you, it appears in the corner of your screen, and it makes you lag + it's distracting. I think there should be an option to stop that happening/make it default.

2: new option: mystery. This is a visual mod, which causes all your notes to appear as if you're getting all perfects, or nothing at all, and your combo to always be yellow. This means that when you get goods/averages/boos, you wont see them, so you can only know about your accuracy after the song is over. This can be annoying because you can AAA all the hard parts but get a good early on, so maybe you should be able to set it so that the mystery mod only starts at a certain combo. This might be too confusing, but if some people prefer to see certain accuracies but not others, there could be boxes to tick to indicate whether or not you want to see said accuracy. (i would like to be able to see misses.) This can be useful ingame as to stop distractions, and for fun.

Here's some ideas. Some are more distantly suggestive.
-R^3 Multiplayer Voice Chat
-Option to remove bar at the bottom of screen while playing R^3
-Option to increase distance to view the notes or a version of R^3 that's more vertical
-In-game report form with options like reporting bug issues or another player
-Option, Restart and Quit keys disabled while using the Option screens
-FFR the game not to be inaccessible while work is being done on a different part of the site.
-Front page list of people who are currently using Multiplayer
-Option to use your own background
-More players in Multiplayer
-MP match results to be fixed so they are sent and displayed every time
-Option to disable MultiPlayer private messages during FFR file gameplay
-Buzzer for Multiplayer and an option to disable this feature
-Feature that allows you to upload songs you created that stays on there for a temporary amount of time
-Credits and gameplays earned from other engine gameplays are recieved on current account.
-Opportunity to send self okayed Challenges on R^3 to a Challenge board with a wager of credits feature that includes categorized skill level placement based on your highest AAA so that people around your skill level can try to beat your score.
-A whole new set of high score leaderboards based on raw score and rates leaderboards.
-Song start 2 second delay before notes or music starts and some kind of a noise to alert the song's about to start which can also be disabled.
-Scores that aren't sending are set aside until the game can send the score unless R^3 is closed.
-Tips for beginning players or even a Tutorial on R^3
-New Noteskins, Token songs, bonus credits and other goodies earned at a set chance after successfully completing a song.
-Single loading screen instead of two when first firing up R^3
-Single Player Spectating in Multiplayer mode.
-Solo Player Spectatimg of friends currently playing.
-10 Credits to Losers 20 to winners in Multiplayer.
-Daily Challenges like a bounty board all players can participate in like a to do list with rewards.
-Search bar with Categories (Especially one for the video database)
-Scores displayed for a single player playing FFR games in Multiplayer

I think it would be cool for there to be a token whore v2 in te future, where you have to unlock all 1-200 skill tokens (when they come out), and token whore v2 would be some dump file of token whore, and if you can unlock it, you'll get a multicoloured name in chat!

I'd definitely like to see a Stepmania note skin implemented into the R3 engine. I used to play on Velocity and R2 with the Stepmania noteskin and I didn't understand why it wasn't implemented in the R3 engine. But yeah, that'd be a cool addition for sure.

From the information I was able to deduce, I guess we have larger server space than we have in the past.

I dare to pose the question...

Is it time to introduce raw scoring once and for all ?

The last official tournaments were based on raw scoring. 80% wants to move to raw scoring, and that's a 2 year-old poll. To satisfy both sides, if we have enough space, we could even have both ?

That's my only arguments, everything has already been said multiple times so that it's only a matter of time (and maybe a bit of courage and commitment from the staff).

I'd like it if they moved to raw scoring. It's what truly separates the good players from the bad ones mashers.

I know most of the community would be for this proposition. It would make average ranks a lot more meaningful to skill and I could probably half the boo count on my level ranks lol

Any ETA about this ? I'm sure this would give FFR a boost of popularity many have wanted, it would bring back many players that deserted. Myself included, I would definitely play competitively again if such a thing happened.

Also, would it be possible to included a date for the last time you've played a song in the levelranks ? I already proposed it two years ago and I have the impression it felt through the cracks ? The system already records timestamps for all plays by everyone, it would be pretty simple (from my pov).
