The first thing is if you were 13-14 years old i wouldn't be asking her out because at the age of 13-14 you go out with some one about for a week then all of a sudden they don't like you.
So ya having a gf or bf at that age is gay.

Lemme say something. There was this girl i liked and i decided to do something about it. So i basically did what was suggested (talk to her as often as possible, but without overdoing it) and that worked very well. Later, i ended up asking her who she liked, and she told me that she probably wasnt going to tell me. Well, i kept pestering her about it (i would just say, "so is it so and so" and she would say yes or no) and eventually i had a little system going. I then narrowed it down to only a few guys. One thing too, dont be afraid of asking her to hang out, not necessarily a date or anything just with friends and stuff. Anyway, one day i decided not to name off any guys names and she came up to me and said "arent you going to ask me who i like?" I told her that i would stop because it probably bugged her and she told me that she told me who i liked (she asked my friends and they spilled their guts) and she asked if it was her. Being very bold, i told her that i did. Luckily for me, i decided to ask her right after that if i was the one she liked (cause i had never previously listed my name when asking) and she said that it was. Needless to say, things have been going great for me. The one thing that helped the most was that we would hang out with friends on the weekends, watching movies and playing games. Also, i would find time to talk to her while we were alone (on the morning bus ride to school =P).
