Apart from the few major franchises ps3 doesn't really have any games i am too intrested in. I always say you have to warrent how many games you are intrested in by the consoles price.

I simply could not find 10 games I am intrested in to warrent it as a buy.

I do live in a box.

But you see, I've heard about the Wii and its games more often than the PS3 and its games from my friends.

I'm being blocked by my perception, all my friends are talking about the Wii and the games themselves, that I'm lead to believe that no one knows any of the PS3 games.

Tsu, you must have been living in a box. Games known for PS3 are:

-MGS4: Guns of The Patriots
-Resistance: Fall of Man
-Devil May Cry 4
-Final Fantasy XIII
-Killzone 2
etc.

So saying that there are no well known games for the PS3 is just dumb.

Upon the Wii release, a lot of the people I know said that they want to get Twilight Princess and they also already knew that the Wii came with Wii Sports.

For the PS3, all I have heard was FFXII, and that was last week. I wasn't even told if it was good or not.

PS3 is $600. Don't fool yourself over the 20gb version. It's a complete waste of money. Would you consider Xbox 360 to be $300? I said in the 360 thread that I'd consider the Core version and a bunch of people were like "wtf why"

Sony is a multi-billion dollar corporation. I think they know what they are doing.

I don't think pissing off fans is the sign of a company that knows what it's doing, and you can't deny the millions of fans of the original PS2 who were completely turned off by the price tag, for starters.

Yes, in fact, I do think it's worth it. You have to look forward to the future. If I were just 100% strong-willed on one side, there'd be no point in arguing, I'd just be satisfied with knowing that I like this one console only.

The only other thing I asked was "Do you think Sony will last". I never asked what system has better games or what system is better. I did bring up games like VF, MGS4, And even FF, but not from a gamer's point of view, from a Business point of view (Like I said I hate FF). Since Squeek has provided links for the games, and since we already know what other games are for what system, let's not have another flashMaster post.

wii + good computer = not a whole lot more than ps3

which is trying to be both but not great at either

ok i want everyone to know right now, on the show "attack of the show" they interviewd a worker of gears of war, and he said it will also be comming out for PS3. SO SHUTUP DAM 360 FANS! First of all I'm not a 360 fanboy. Second Claiming that a game out right now is better than a game that has not even been released is just plain stupid. I will say that the Halo games are not the best FPS around but neither is Resistance. If anyones a fanboy it's you. You sound like a Sony Fanboy.
