Haha, I'm to sluggish when it comes to Samus. I played her for a while, just too slow for me. Do you play more defense with her, though? I'm usually aggressive when playing, so that might be it. Just not my style =S.

I'm very aggressive with all of my characters, including Samus.

My friend, however, has developed a fighting style we like to call "aggressive evasion", where he's constantly running away. This works extremely well with Samus and her pills and missiles. It's also VERY annoying to people like me.

She can be played either way, I feel.

I'm usually more defensive, and Samus tends to work for me.

I'm offensive if I see a chance for a combo.

I try to play safe. So I spam my Up+B move. It is hard to get me if I'm constantly doing this. Yet people do. =[

First off, I'm not familiar with the MLG tournament. Second of all, it isn't a requirement that I must do, so therefore I won't bother doing so.

Oh yes, it is. You're probably not as good as you think you are until you dominate a MLG tournament.

A true Sheik player knows that Zelda is the icing on the cake for Sheik. While Zelda might not be as fast or agile as Sheik, she has some of the strongest magical attacks in the game. Plus her Up+B owns Sheik's in recovery.

I don't even consider a Sheik player any good unless they switch back and forth. Sheik's only got one reliable finisher. I use Sheik to build up damage, then switch to Zelda after about 80% or so. Unless they're one of the heavier characters in the game, a tilt-down+A sends them into a perfect setup for any of Zelda's other tilts or smashes.

Once you get advanced stuff like dodging and rolling down to the point where you avoid your opponent JUST BEFORE IMPACT, then things start to get fun.

For the longest time I had no idea you could roll as you hit the ground if you do it right.

I think it was a couple months ago I figured that out. I had always known you could recover quickly from tapping Z as you landed, but I never knew you could roll out of it.

Oh man I totally forgot about Peach. Probably my best character, if not my favorite. Smacking people with that mid-air crown attack is really fun. Too bad it's her only truly effective mid-air attack (though the up-A is good for juggling, especially with the whole "float" thing.) Ground smashes aren't wonderful, but still average, and still fun.

Yeah, Peach is fun.

I can beat most of my friends standing still with peach and occaisionally jumping, throwing turnips, and eventually whacking them with a smash. I'm starting to need new competition :/

If play as Fox, I just sit at the edge, throw them off, and shine them.

Repeatedly.

I've 4-0'd my friends so many times this way. It's almost disgraceful. Of course, I'd use a lot better techniques in a real match.

Well, you can't play AS Solid Snake, and you do play as Zero-Suit Samus, yes.

If you pick up shock by crouching, Peach's down-smash does like, 60% damage

My best character was easily mario/dr. mario.
I usually couldnt be hit with any item due to his cape move.
But now I suck at it.
