I think we played well considering that there were 6 or 7 useful blues, and a massive alliance was formed on Day 1 that we couldn't prevent in any way.

Lasting as long as we did was a pretty nice achievement IMO.

Oh and we thought the 4-kills in 1 WOULD end the game, Afro...we didn't consider the possibility that a vigi would have two kills, we just thought there were two vigis.

Yeah, we got lucky a few times. We won because of good playing + luck.

If there was a second vigi, he would by default been the one who killed Kilga (since Iggy had mentioned that Sert was a vigi who didn't use one charge), who would've been resurrected, which would have been game right there...that's what we were hoping for.

We won anyway though, so it's all good.

Yeah, I really am disappointed that no one got resurrected. That would have definitely made things more interesting, even if it aided in the loss of the humans.

You know what would have been funny? If talisman and mini guarded each other the whole game, that would have been sweet XD.

The way the game turned out with a 12 player alliance on Day 1, the wolves should NEVER win the game in any scenario. The 4 kill massacre was what we did to give ourselves a chance to actually win. Had that not happened, there's no way we could have won. Had Shash and I played poorly, there's no way we could have won. If the humans played a better game, we would have lost. Actually, this is mainly why we kept Afro and iggy alive(rofl). You disagreed on too many things and both thought you were right. We didn't have to do anything, really. The game was handed to us not by 4 kills on the last night(although that did help a lot), but by the poor play of the humans.

Problem being, they could guard each other current night all they'd like, but that doesn't stop the wolves from killing them prior to the current night. This was the reason why they would have been allowed to guard each other, because it hardly would matter. Talisman's role would have helped the humans a lot, but unless he was alive on the last day, the end result would have been nearly identical. As soon as he died most/all of his res's would die as well, assuming the wolves wolf on N1. So it leaves more information in the game to float around longer, but it most likely wouldn't have changed final day numbers.

I thought the way it worked was

1) I would guard matt night one and he would guard me night one
2) from that point on, we are always guarded on night one, as if you time travel back to night one, well then you aren't going to some parallel universe, the guardings are still happening.

Two independent guardians who can guard each other should never, ever, ever, ever, ever be in TWG.

Insta-win if they find each other on Night 1 through AIM. Some game that would've been.
