Just saw Round's claim. This is the post I had before I saw it. I'm happier with it now that I can rest easy about a Round x V partnership.

I'll be mostly if not entirely on mobile tomorrow so I'll have to make my vote tonight. It's still coming down for me to Sunfan, roundbox, and Vendetta. I'll throw in J-Rodd to this analysis because of Roundbox's recent posts.

Looking at the possible partnerships between those players, all of them work all right.

Round x V: The only one where one potential partner left their vote on the other. But apparently that's somewhat common for V to do? I imagine that that would be the type of situation where a person might bus their partner if they were into that sort of thing. Both partners are suspicious and it's a high-leverage enough situation that if you saw the writing on the wall you might try to get a jump on a round lynch and vote your partner. I got the sense most of the day that that was probably where the lynch was headed. Also, V's votes for roundbox are pretty strange, especially in comparison to her vote for JRodd. The first vote he basically commits to changing his vote later in the phase. Then there's this post where V tries to pump the brakes on roundbox getting lynched. The J-Rodd vote seems like seeing if this it's going to stick, which seems the most like a wolf x human relationship of V's votes. The last vote is pretty weird since it's so authoritative given how much V has been telling people not to trust their opinion.

The biggest thing that makes me doubt this pairing is Guy Fieri with onion ring fingers. If Kawamii had been my partner I don't know what I would've done, but I probably wouldn't have been making Guy Fieri onion ring fingers in Photoshop.

Sunfan x Roundbox: I go back and forth on this one too. On one hand, going after your partner early in the phase is probably the best time to do it if you just want to create distance without risking them getting lynched. It's just that after that, Sunfan's actions really don't make sense if they're partners. Why does he leave his vote on Roundbox for so long? It seems unlikely that he'd forget that his vote was left on his partner, as he claimed somewhere. I could be getting totally played by sunfan there but I'm doubting that pairing for that reason.

Sunfan x Vendetta: Probably the least against this pairing, but also not a whole lot pointing towards it.

J-Rodd x Vendetta: J-Rodd is probably the person who seems the least like a wolf partner for Vendetta imo. He was the first person to go after Kawamii for her inactivity and then Vendetta's vote back seems like the most wolf x human interaction of the three votes they placed.

J-Rodd x Roundbox: Less likely imo now that Roundbox is seriously going after J-Rodd. Could be distancing in case Round gets lynched but I think J-Rodd was in a pretty good position to survive beforehand and Roundbox's observation is specific enough that it doesn't seem planned to me.

J-Rodd x Sunfan: If J-Rodd's a wolf, Sunfan's his most likely partner. J-Rodd read sunfan neutral most of the day, and

I could see myself rethinking and changing my vote. Vendetta is intriguing to me the more I come around to the idea of wolves ragequitting, and the less I think about Guy Fieri with onion ring fingers. The problem is I'm getting a more human vibe from Roundbox since he posted the J-Rodd stuff, and I think V-Roundbox is by far V's best potential partner outside of Sunfan. Sunfan works well with everyone else I suspect and he might be the person I suspect most in his own right.

In recent games I've tried to break that meta, but never by actually lynching the partner. Take a look at the PM's I sent to Tut about voting for him in Love in the Crossfire though--since I noticed my meta usually some variation of that conversation happens. It rarely gets to the thread though.

I've played games where the cop softs too hard or I notice it and I know they have a red-check on my partner so I start bussing them for the sweet sweet towncred.

eh its not important its probably the last thing we need to talk about right now.

I might be thinking too hard but Jrodd said something about WILoves then stopped posting which I think would happen if he saw that he was roleblocked.

I'm mad at myself for townreading him the first day like I always do because I'm rather convinced he's a wolf now.

Since it doesn't matter anymore the thing that bothered me was that he didn't talk about how bad of a lynch the lynch on Ben was when he HATES lynching people who are not posting often when that person is getting bandwagoned.

If j-rodd is a Wolf, I think Vendetta21 is a good potential Partner. I felt like Vendetta21's switch off of you to j-rodd Day 1 was abrupt and unanticipated. I don't think it's out of the question for them to bus as Partners like that, at least.

Interesting stuff. With that said, I'm leaning towards J-Rodd being town, actually. First off, there's a 50/50 chance of a BP in the game. J-Rodd doesn't technically have to be the wolfing or the wolf, though it is much more likely.

Also, if I'd been a wolf I probably would've had the more suspected wolf make the kill, and if he's a wolf J-Rodd probably was the less suspected of the two wolves. The town can only have a JK to roleblock the kill and the JK would probably use their power as a pseudo doctor since they can predict who's going to get killed better than they can who's going to make the kill.

stated it earlier then reaffirmed it when round claimed; the way he entered this phase was rather disappointing/wolfy to me.

There is a chance he was the wolfkill but I would bet he is a wolf wayyyyyy more than I would bet he is town atm.
