Okay so I re-read the entire thread this morning. Vote reiteration time: James May

Where to begin...

After reading through the thread, my top three wolf reads in order are:

James
TPS
Xiz

I don't want to lynch TPS today however, because he can be a valuable player. I genuinley feel that lynching valuable players day 1 is a bad idea unless we have some type of confirmed reading on them.

That being said here's what I see on James:

Posts 1-5:
are Joke lets lynch Manti posts. Null read here normally, but interesting because i selfishly believe a human wouldn't want to joke about killing me. I believe most humans would go "I see manti over there hope he's on my team!" The vote and following posts speak of a desire for me to have little impact on this game

wolves know they are wolves, and don't want to be facing an active IC who's sticking their nose in every single thing possible.

I initially went into this raging hard because simply, in my opinion, it's the most effective way to play this role to win. Get everyone to talk, because people pretty much will have to talk to me, simply because of my role. other people can then /use/ the conversations as reads to aid their efforts.

I find reactions/interactions between IC and other players to be less telling than interactions between two unknowns. it's interesting to see the reads that two unknowns give on each other. the offense/defense in those interactions can give much insight on the mindsets of those players. when an IC calls out another player, the latter player has to say "you're wrong because blahblahblah" and that's all that can happen.

people can be all friendly and cuddly with the IC, or they can argue points and hold their ground. to me, neither type of response is indicative of a certain alignment. townies and wolves can play it safe with IC in order to stay out of trouble. townies can argue with IC if they think their opinion is right. wolves can argue with the IC in order to mislead IC's opinion or even to townie on a reverse psychology level. j-rodds skirmish with you was a no-decision for me on his alignment, personally.


anyway back to lynching. I see half a Manti post so I will bite my lip for now

V, I understand why you're pissed at Vic but we need to place our bitterness aside and not let that cloud our judgement on who could be mafia (and the possible serial killer mind you, which SK might've picked seer immunity if that was the case. iirc freaky picked seer immunity when he was serial killer correct?)

Though I do think that we have have a serial killer in here. I just need to take a good look at the roles and the possibilities of it since we have an Innocent Child.

What the fuck are these posts. How can you think we have a serial killer in this game when it's day 1 and the only disclosed power role is a IC? The only way to have any semblence of there being an SK is if you're a blue and going "Okay if Yoshl and I are the only blues I see we're up against Sk+ wolves" Otherwise it's a complete shot in the dark. The flip side of that coin is if you're a wolf and you know what the roles of the wolf team are. You'd look at how many power roles the humans might have and notice "Oh if we have Goon,Goon,Roleblock, we have a 50/50 shot of also having an SK" or "Oh it's Goon, Godfather, there's a 66% chance of having a SK".

There's absolutley NO REASON for you to think there's a SK in this game unless you have outside knowledge about the possibilities. This means you are either power human or wolf.

Post 31-34:
Here he starts picking at Eva and drizzle, the perceived weakest players in the game. (sidenote, drizzle attacks me here, see the next point)

Post 35:
When I explain to drizzle that she needs to show her "evidence" to lynch me, James jumps to my defense so fast it hurts. I've really done nothing at that point in the game to warrant he amount of defense tries to provide, so in turn I look at this post as an attempt where James tries to "buddy" himself up to me. Drizzle didn't even get enough time to post her "evidence" before James was at my side voting for her and defending me that speaks of behind the scene knowledge that I'm human, since a human's true reaction would be to wait for drizzle to expand upon her argument before providing an argument for or against the case.

That's my case for James May. Discuss.

I took a risk calling out James.

If he's a blue, his next play is to come out and confirm what blue he is so we don't lynch him (sidenote, if he's a wolf he'll do this too). I have left him with no other option because I took away his guise of being a normal townie. If i'm correct in him being wolf/power human, but wrong on the account that i think he's a wolf, The wolves will filter down my information to "we know he's a power role now. We'll make sure we wolf him"

He's better off coming out as a blue now if he is one, so we can see what role he has and use that in our estimation of how powerful team wolf is.
