DrKirth said that via AIM and I'm inclined to agree.

If you're wolf, and trav named sully as wolf but you KNOW that sully ISN'T wolf, obviously you wouldn't fall for it.



Then again, the whole situation is stupid.

Shadow shouldn't have even considered the offer in the first place if he was human.

Xception: As I told you, I NEVER EVER considered the offer, my 'let me think' comment was a moment for me to talk to sully and see what he had to say. Seeing as (as far as I can tell atm) sully /= wolf, given the opportunity (instead of all this arguing) I would have said "No, I'm not wolf, and thanks for the info".

Hmm ... I just read the convo between yourself (Sully) and trav (at the time of trav's accusation/BS offer), and you said yourself that agreeing to go along with trav's plan makes you look incredibly wolfish.

... why would you go along with it fully knowing it'll make you look wolfish?

It's not just the "let me think" that says you're considering it.

It's the fact that you didn't just spout out "I'm not a wolf. I'm human."

If you're a human, you should have mentioned that at some point, which while perhaps nullifying the whole point of "pretending to fall for his trap," should have been said regardless.

If you're a human, you should've had the common sense to just say "I'm not a wolf" outright.

Instead you just continued on with a conversation that you yourself called a "crazy lie."

The absence of that sentence makes me really suspicious. It may be a minor detail, but that implies that you planned to fall for his trap from the very beginning.

Were you really thinking "hey I'm going to fall for his trap" as soon as he said "I'm going to help the red team?"

Just curious, trav, what made you think I was a wolf to begin with? I had said nothing to anybody before that. Oh wait, I know, go for the noobie to get him out of the game. Sorry, forgot about that.

Whoever thinks I fell for the "trap" can believe whatever they wish. Those that have decided, are decided. For everyone else, aim me, I'll try to explain my logic, and we can go from there.

When he said 'i wanna help the red team, I saw pms' blah blah blah, I knew he was lying right away. Because I'm fairly certain that the TWC takes the rules rather seriously, and there was no way that because it was a jTWG that people would just randomly share their PMs. So, essentially, ik it was a trap, and I'm still human.

I know that the "outright statement" you are looking for is not here, however, I have this

You wake up to the sun shining in your eyes. Its going to be a great day for investigating.

After getting dressed and having a shower (although not necessarily in that order) you head to the police headquarters to meet and plan the investigation. Ness does a quick head count to make sure everybody is there.

“Temote is missing” he said in consternation. Everyone looked around, wondering what had happened. Had the Outfit struck? Had someone been murdered? But then Temote burst through the door, still straightening his tie.

“Temote, you’re late.” Ness said in disapproval.
“I’m sorry,” he says in a rush, “but I’ve got a lead. On my way here I saw some people talking to a man at their door, and he pulled a bottle of rum out from his boot. I followed him to a speakeasy on the far side of town.”

“This is great! What’s the name of the place?” Ness asked.

“Its called The Four Deuces, I’ll take you there.”

“dorama, Litodude, go with Temote and check it out. This could be our lucky break. The rest of you, continue your investigations from yesterday.”

The team of three approached The Four Deuces from a side street, staking out the area before making a move. It was still early, so there were only a couple customers.

“So what’s our approach? I don’t think there will be much resistance if we go in shooting.”
That was Litodude, always the one to shoot first ask questions later. He seemed extra eager today.

“No, we don’t want to kill anyone.” Temote, the voice or reason was saying. “We pretend we are customers, see if we can get any info out of them, then throw ‘em in jail”

Litodude protested, of course, but he realized that it would be stupid to argue too much. Agreeing reluctantly, he followed them down into the building. The bartender was relaxing, not expecting much business at this time of day. But he smiled as Litodude walked in the door.

“Good to see you, Litodude.” He said. “And you brought some friends, always good to have more customers.”

dorama rounded on him. He was seething. “What is this. You come here?”

“No, no, this is a set up, I’ve never been here in my life,” Litodude was saying. But dorama wasn’t listening. He was too busy pulling out his pistol. “This is what you get for breaking prohibition, scum.” dorama pulled the trigger. The bullet went clean through Litodude, hitting the wall and sending bits of concrete and blood spraying.

“Hah, hah, hah, hah, ha.”

It was the bartender laughing uncontrollably.

“I can’t believe you fell for that. You call yourselves cops. What a joke.”

dorama looked at Litodude’s body, which was lying face down on the carpet. “So you mean… he wasn’t actually… YOU DESPICABLE SCUM!” Before anyone could react, dorama shot his already drawn revolver at the bartender. The bartender barely had time to be surprised before the bullet took him in the face.
