I talked to Kefit yesterday. He's elected to sit this one out in favor of schoolwork, because he feels he needs to focus on school a lot more than he has been recently for a little while.

We need to make an announcement about TWG in the Chit-Chat. Not as many people go in CT, and with the jTWG here to filter out the uber noobers, I think a Chit-Chat ad for TWG would be a great idea. I know there are more smart people on this site than we have signing up here. We just need to spread the word.

I was going to opt to sit this game out too, because I didn't think it would be fair for me to take up the spot of someone who had really wanted to play and could dedicate a lot more time to this game than I could. However, since it seems no one else wants to sign up, and the already signed up players are anxious to get this game started, I'm in.

for you 3, I want you to read this current jTWG... PLEASE. In there, you can see how things can go wrong if everyone knows each other and doesn't take the situation at face value.

To summarize: Freak was killed, someone is blaming his IRL friend Slanky, 3-4 others who know both IRL are saying that Freak couldn't possibly frame and screw over Slanky like that because they've been friends for years. Lets make 1 thing VERY clear. No relationship, online or IRL, matters when playing TWG. It is Wolves vs Mafia vs Humans. Any other distinctions that are made are WRONG. Case in point... I would be the first one to manipulate Whorli (as I do regardless, so far we've been on the same side both times).

Already done, Tass. I wrote the Day 1 story and have been following ever since. It's getting pretty complicated right now, because between all the arguing and pointing of fingers with flawed evidence, nobody is really figuring anything out.

EDIT: It's all a game, and the IRL relationships don't matter in the game. I'm going to play this game with that principle in mind. For example, if Neo seems like a wolf or mafia, and I'm a human, the fact that I'm good friends with him IRL will not keep me from voting for him. Or, if I'm a wolf and Kenzya is a real threat to me, even though I know him IRL, I'm going to take him out. I suggest all three of us play like this, as well as other groups that may have the same situation. I believe IRL relationships have affected TWG games here before, if I remember correctly.
