Re: Nichijou: My Ordinary Pack (Submissions Open!)
A friend of mine was initially pretty interested in this pack since he likes Nichijou and steps simfiles although he is not well-known around these parts, he did have one created for the opening. After what he saw in the reviews though, he decided to tell me to relay to you guys that he no longer wants to participate in this pack since he apparently didn't agree with the reviews from some of the judges.
After looking at the reviews myself, I can't really say I disagree with him either, since some of the statements in the reviews just goes to show that the judges have no idea what they are talking about (i.e. what's "needed" and what's not, what's "necessary" and "unnecessary").
Although I could be wrong, if this is just supposed to be another cool-clique-only pack that isn't aimed at appealing to anything beyond the scope of the judges personal tastes then by all means, DISREGARD everything I said above. I apologize for looking at it as something more then it was. (Which probably puts me at fault too for misleadingly coercing my friend into going out of his way to contribute but Oh Well.)
Either way, please remove Amber's submission from the queue.
Thanks, and good luck with the pack!

Oops, I'm sorry if my reviews seemed biased towards my own preferences in files. I did worry about that a little bit, which was why I got two other judges who probably looks at these submissions way differently from thw way I do.
At any rate, I'll remove the file from the queue - thanks for the good luck wishes :>
EDIT: Updated. Now that there are only two files for the opening, I'll most likely be including them both as two separate files, if both are accepted. (I can tell you now that Detrimentalist's is probably getting a very high score rofl)
Re: Nichijou: My Ordinary Pack (Submissions Open!)
Anime themed packs never do too well, excluding those with great soundtracks or multiple albums.
K-ON!, Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, etc.
Mostly because you get 5-10 different versions of the same shit (usually OP or ED) and it's boring. Nichijou is still relatively new series so it doesn't have a lot of sounds to work on. So unless there's quite a few remixes, this is probably a bad idea imo. =/
Edit~
Not trying to be a poor sport about this. xP Just putting in my two cents, maybe I shouldn't have though. >.>
