I tried using DDReam to sync Croqel and it only made it worse. Apparently every time you save an .sm, the gap shifts along with half of your bpms. ****.

no? if it shifts its because you're saving it as a single bpm instead of just an sm

I know of a file to submit. I'm just having DDReam issues with adjusting the offset after I recut the mp3. I made a thread. Do you happen to know how to fix it?

The first one did take a while huh?

Oh well, it'll be really solid once it's released. There's one more file that I wanna submit to this. It's gonna take forever to make.

So here's a question:

So you have background drums playing simultaneously with guitar or keyboard. Now the guitar/keyboard is more interesting so they're taking priority as far as what steps are placed, however the 4ths they produce don't coincide (slight layering gap) with the drums although they're of nearly equal tempo. There are also colored notes frequently interspersed. Should there be BPM changes to align the drum beats that aren't gonna be placed (so the arrow silhouettes at least contract to the most prominent sounds while playing), or just ignore them and keep the tempo constant?

I think that purposefully altering the sync to follow an instrument that's only slightly offbeat and not seguing into an interesting solo would just be distracting.
