This is incredibly impressive, by all parties involved. Huge kudos to Shuey and foxfire for keeping, maintaining and sorting/organizing everything.
Way to go guys!Leave a comment:

Eternal redemption to foxfire, eternal glory to Shuey, and thanks bmah for the sticky
WOOHOO YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Suggestion: maybe edit the OP of the thread with the above post from foxfire, so that users in 5+ years will understand right away what they can get out of this thread.Last edited by MarioNintendo; 04-24-2017, 10:41 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: "The Museum of DDR Simfile History"
Shuey's Museum Catigorized
I apologize for the lack of updates, so how about I just fast forward to the end and give you all the good stuff. I've spent a lot of time dissecting this Museum now, and have plenty of additional content added to SMO for download!
It took a while to get the meat out of this archive, but now it's basically squared away. There are some other interesting things which aren't pack related I could upload somewhere else if people are interested (old SM versions, old programs and utilities. stuff like that). In the packs I threw together I kept all the information I could about the files, a lot of the singles have long reads about who made it by the original author or by Shey so I'd recommend reading some if you are interested in the historical aspect of these old singles.Last edited by foxfire667; 04-24-2017, 05:07 PM. Considering the historical importance of this trove of old simfiles, I've stickied the thread.Leave a comment:

Re: "The Museum of DDR Simfile History"
the main reason I'm hype about this is because there may be some of my very very old charts hidden away in here
unfortunately when I looked at the thing shuey posted a while back where we could browse file names and folder structures I didn't find anything from any of my old usernames
maybe I'll stream one of these originals packs and give reviews/reactionsLeave a comment:

Re: "The Museum of DDR Simfile History"
Shuey's is better -- the one with the lowercase r. (See the dates on the far right, too)
Has the missing stepcharts and videosLast edited by Reincarnate; 04-20-2017, 07:35 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: "The Museum of DDR Simfile History"
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT FINALLY
^ I think this is a valid idea, let us know if you went ahead with it, foxfire
Edit: there is a "BeMaNiRuLeR originals" and "BeMaNiRuLer originals" (minus capital r), what's the difference between these packs?Last edited by MarioNintendo; 04-20-2017, 08:20 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: "The Museum of DDR Simfile History"
THE ANGELFALLS FILE IS CORRECT
AHAHHAHAHAHAHHAA
finally, proof I'm not crazy about this -- Shuey's file is the correct / original version. No freaking idea how that other shit version got spliced in and replicated all over the internet over the years.
Angelfalls (and Afronoia) are special to me because they were some of the very first files I downloaded way back in the early 2000's in order to learn certain arrow patterns.
Thanks again for sharing these files, Shuey!Last edited by Reincarnate; 04-17-2017, 07:08 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: "The Museum of DDR Simfile History"
Thanks for the update, Foxfire.
As an aside: Oh man, having fun with some of these... there's also a weird feeling of "this is probably the first time in over a decade that this file has been loaded up in Stepmania, anywhere"Last edited by Reincarnate; 04-17-2017, 06:55 PM.Leave a comment:
