Ok first off, DDR and ITG wans't ONLY ment for pad play... otherwise they would have disabled the PS2/X-Box controller feature on the home versions. besides, are you forgetting there is a rerason why in Stepmania they have these things called KEYBOARD STEPS?!?!?!

And yes i do play on my feet, in fact i can pass every song except for the max's, but that doesnt mean I suck.

The thread is about Konami Buying out ITG...that will affect home/arcade versions....nothing about stepmania or cheating with controllers.

Keyboard steps were only made because people like the music and wanted to make better stepfiles.

even though there is some hard songs on ddr like fascination max, and paranioa respect, the amount of difficult songs on itg are way more in number. plus since itg allows u to add mods, u could make even a easy 6 foot song become difficultly fun.

plus itg lacks alot of the girly songs ddr loves to add.

Okay so the only reason ITG is better than DDR is because it has alot of hard songs? What happened to good music? Or playing for fun? Maybe I just like JDM stuff. So shoot me for being wrong or whatever.

Bubble Dancer, No Princess, Spaceman, Kiss Me Red, and other song like that aren't girly, lol?

Unless you mean like ITG didnt have songs like Love 2 Sugar, Love Love Shine and song like that, in which case yes i would have to agree with you.

as for good music? look at the song list for ddr extreme 2 (ps2 release or arcade) and then do the same for itg2.

Well I think DDR & ITG are both good.

DDR=Not as much cool music
ITG=Alot more non crappy songs

+ITG= has more difficulty..
-DDR= to easy songs..

But both are good... But I just hope that ITG3 isnt canceled in the arcade...!
