gh3 is so much harder then the others. but i guess that was their intentions when they made it that way. plus im not really feeling the new look to it

A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS.

Seth and I decided to start new files playing on precision mode and are racing to 5* the whole setlist. We challenge all of you (Except Shash and Reach, you beasts) to participate too.

This is basically gonna come down to another 5* raining blood race but oh well MAY THE BEST MAN WIN.

Oh and btw is there a way you can prove you've done a song on that mode? I couldn't tell the difference between score sheets.

I honestly found GH2 harder. That's why I want to do GH3 on precision mode now.

Precision mode is a cheat that makes the timing windows really ****ing small. Get it from Gamefaqs or something.

Also I just tried it out and HOLY **** it's so hard. I barely 5*'d talk dirty to me what the flying christ?

I FC'd talk dirty to me first try on precision mode. It's hardly any harder at all unless your timing is normally disgraceful or something.

I didn't try TTFAF or raining blood but I might later just for the hell of it, and participate even though I'm not allowed 8)

TTFAF is annoying as hell normally let alone on precision mode. I don't know if it's just the PS2 version or what but it 1. is horribly offbeat/sync in multiple spots that can't be fixed by changing the offset 2. Annoys the hell out of me with overstrums on HO notes for no reason 3. Lag skips when I activate in certain spots...****ing etc. I can't stand playing it anymore lmao, I'm not even going to bother working on an 800k.

Nope, there is no way to tell the difference. At least not that I have noticed. You are going to have to take people's words on it I guess. I highly doubt anyone is going to 5* TTFAF with precision mode, unless this challenge is just for the setlist. Otherwise, not happening. ^^

Let me know when this is over and you start Performance Mode.

Then Performance and Precision Mode.

Then Performance Mode, Precision Mode, and Lefty Flip, despite the fact that you're using performance mode.

Then all that with the air guitar cheat.

Etc.

performance mode is awesome but **** playing through all of career on it

so far i can 5* radio song, almost 5* bif and pass one on performance mode <3

also i dunno if its the ps3 version or what but precision mode is INSANE for me. I was seriously getting random misses in the repeating chords.

tibs, for the ps3, did u calibrate yours or was it set right? I just can't seem to calibrate mine right. If I had the ps2 version and an old t.v. i think it would be perfectly on beat, but is there like any way I can actually hit in guitar hero perfectly on beat, or do i just have to calibrate it myself?
