Why is the timing in GH2 so ****ed up after playing GH3? D>: Decided to play it today.

I failed jordan like 5 times in a row, and then gave up. It's still f'ing impossible. TTFAF is nothing. Unless you tap that there's nothing you can do. My hand is so much faster than it was before, and I felt like I was keeping up with the pace but I was hitting absolutely nothing at all. The timing is messed up hardcore. Don't know if it's the hammer ons or what, but I tried alt strumming it and failed just as quickly.

I'm like, fc'ing the red snake but can't even hit 3 notes in a row during solo c.

Miserlou on the other hand was much easier than I remembered. Almost fc'd first try. ;o I bombed six. It seemed so out of sync and I kept missing for no reason whatsoever in the strum sections.

Pretty much fc on Thunderhorse and the Light that blinds though. I think like, -2 and -3, both of which were random.

I seriously hope they stick with GH3 timing for all up and coming GH games. If they keep changing it, it's going to be a huge pain in the ass.

I think another problem with GH2 is that I play HS4 on GH3, so hyperspeed on Gh2 is WAY too slow. It really affects my performance on some songs now that I'm used to reading a lot faster.

Nah. I play on HS 3 on GH3, which is supposed to be something like HS on GH2.

Still have the same problem. I can't even hit the hammer-ons in the Jordan intro.

So I got 69% on TTFAF. I'm so relieved that I can finally pass the intro. I've done it like 10 times now. Twice without missing a note =)

Now I just have to find the SP paths and I should pass.

I need to get further without using star power so I can use it at that spot. That at the One solo-like thing, on YBO.

I used a jacket to screenshrink and GH2 was ok to play.

And yeah my One score sucks because I never ever play that song XD I've played it once since the week GH3 came out rofl. I don't like sitting through the boring beginning to get to the good stuff.

So I'm getting GH3 for PC. This hopefully means I can download charts and make my own charts. I'm really looking forward to it. I think playing new files every day should help me improve.

I finaly beat TTFAF!!!

Tapped the hell out of the intro and got the 2sp's. Only used SP once in the solos. I'm just in shock!

331k, 3*, 87% notes hit. But it was on a friend's Xbox so I'll have to redo it on my Wii =D

So I keep dying on TTFAF at 83%. I don't know what I can do to get through this. If I can manage to save star power up to this point (which I haven't been able to yet), I should have the song beat.

I've gone into practice and I'm at my full capacity. I can't do any better for now. Any tips, or do I just need to try when I'm better?

Try saving Star Power for it? You said yourself you might be able to beat it doing that, so I'd advise trying that first.
