Pretty much altered the steps by TheRaiRai (which he made for stepmania) to make it more FFR friendly. Yes, I've played them both and I know what is similar/not.

PS: also zagh is still alive but not on ffr lmao

Behanjc has quite a few really SICK files, I do know one of them is going to be a major epic, nearly no chance of rejection from my point of view either. I have one or two nice files in the queue, but you guys won't see it for a long time. (queue too big)

Lol my files are all rejected :P Mostly because i like making pitch relevant stuff, so my patterns are the same when the music is. Then it gets rejected for repetetiveness. Oh well.

You people better like Final Step when it comes out.

This proves that FFR knows s*** about files. Secrets and Lies is one of the best files in the game, and is WAAAAAY too underrated. I have no idea why in the world people wouldn't like that file.

This proves that you know s*** about good files. Secrets got really boring really fast--and IIRC most people said that when it came out. Hell I enjoyed Arch's steps better then that song (and for the record the ONLY sim Arch made that I cared for was that Paranoia one) I see it being underrated but the best? Go play TGWP, 8BitDreamer, Horizon, Anubis, Xuxa, Max Forever, JewP's songs (all of them) and Maple Leaf Rag. Those blow Secrets outta the water.

off the top of my head, i like files from dore and jimerax..... theyre both really good and i think they could both get alot of great files in the game....

oh yeah, more sulferdragon too :P

those steps are repetetive out the ass..... more than half the steps were copied and pasted..... if there were different patterns, then it would be a much nicer file

Secrets may be repetitive, but it is definitely very well-done. The percussion follow the runs, and the jumps are appropriately placed. I know what good files are. Start surfing around ODI or something.

Xuxa is yet another ordinary techno file, nothing special, especially in comparison to other files.
Max Forever is an extremely generic file, and if you asked Rebirth, I'm sure he'll agree.
Jewp's songs are all dull and slow.
Maple Leaf Rag is decent file, but that's it. Again, it feels good, but it's nothing amazing.
8-Bit Dreamer? You're kidding right?
Horizon is a fun file, even though it's generic. Decent.
TGWP is overrated. It has AMAZING sync, but a lot of steps feel extremely strange, and the slow parts are boring as hell.

I know what a good file is. FFR doesn't have any, so everyone's opinions are... messed up? Play more SM, people. FFR is just a transition, or quick-access SM, that's all. Download my "We Met Dat Night" in the db. I haven't played the original, but I'll assure you these are good steps (not perfect, but very good).

eastsideman, don't even start with me. All of your sims that I've played are dumps. If a file has an awesome pattern already, what harm is it in playing once more? Techno music is repetitive, but you still listen to it. Steps are repetitive and you make a deal out of it. Oh yeah, if every file in the world were generic streams and jumps life would be perfect huh?

This is why FFR gets on my nerves. The best sim authors with years of experience and worldwide recognition are virtually unknown, while the amateur sim authors get all the praise.

EDIT: Guys, go search for Kil's files for SM. He is probably the world's best sim author so far (not just my opinion, most of the SM community). Play more of his stuff. And if you dare say ANYTHING he made was anything below good, gtfo of rhythm simulation.

I would love to see more Kit- files in the game. I love almost all of his stepfiles.
