While that's a somewhat valid reason, it's still pretty frustrating I'm doomed to never place in a tournament again. Lol.

tbh most people won't place (top 8 or whatever) in a tournament. I'm high D6 and have never cracked the top 16 in any official lol.

I think honestly you guys gotta respect the placement people, they're doin' the best they can...
There's always going to be border cases. If you change the obvious favorites in one division up or the obvious first bloods in one division down, there will just be a new group everyone complains about that takes their place.

also @justin, one thing to do possibly is just wait for the definition of D5/D6 to change. Who knows, as everyone gets better and the boundaries shift upwards, someday you might be D5 again!
Okay maybe it doesn't work like that... we can dream

I'm with Justin. I cant even AAA an FGO and im competing against people that have more than one. XD I've had a few sessions where i was getting D6 scores but imo im still D5. Ive never gotten past round 4 and i probably never will dohohoho

If you can get to round 4 in D6 you belong in D6.

I know you're not talking to me yosh, but:

I'd venture to argue my D6 placement, yes. I had a two week period where I got D6 scores almost three years ago and have never come remotely close to being able to mimic that again. The amount of time I was putting into FFR at that point was absurd and I have things going on in my life now that pretty much guarantee I'll never be putting that much time into FFR anymore. There's virtually no way I can ever compete in D6 anymore, and being placed there continually is frustrating and pretty demotivating.

I've talked to some people about it before in the past and the general consensus I get is "I agree with what you're saying, but can't make the exception for you because then others would want it". While that's a somewhat valid reason, it's still pretty frustrating I'm doomed to never place in a tournament again. Lol.

Really not the thread to be arguing which division you should or shouldn't be in the official. If you have a legitimate problem with your placement, PM Halogen. This thread is for gathering data and trying to improve trumpet's formula, so please stop derailing.

I do realize this, and I'm not solely mentioning it for that reason. It's really demotivating to me to try to play in the official when I know I won't make it past round two or three unless I get really lucky.

lol yea, some ppl are taking the graph too seriously as a way to place them. it is accurate and well put together, but once ppl take it to heart and say "see! i'm higher/lower than i should be *rabble rabble rabble*" it's taken a bit too serious haha

if something pops up that makes it easier for players to complain about their placements, then they'll do it

So based upon the spreadsheet, since I'm placed in D6 in the official, am i placed correctly? Or, because I have True/False/False does that mean I'd be lower?

i don't think i was really overreacting, the "omfg" was like a joke indicator, so was the lol

is everyone reading into things much? also, i don't think i've ever had an outburst about placements elsewhere? idk what you're talking about guys lol

also, i think part of it's my fault for mis-reading krunky's intentions, to me it looked like he was saying "am i placed correctly in the official" essentially, putting alot more faith in this trial metric than would be logical, so i was maybe a bit annoyed that i felt that krunky was choosing to try and debate his placement in the official, along with his complaining (not in this thread, but in previous tournaments and such)

Okay, seriously, this is not the tournament thread. Let us remember that this is a thread for a developing skill-measuring statistic, and I have no association with the event staff. Since none of this most recent conversation has been directed at the Zenith Score, I have to conclude that you're barking up the wrong tree.
