I was a little disappointed in how quickly the songs with acceptable lyrics were taken, and how few options there really were.

75% of the final accepted submissions were done within a couple hours after its posting, before I knew about the contest.

Also the Literature category was impossible, and kind of crappy that one the alphabet song was accepted/onlychartpossible for it.

I had fun looking for songs for an hour or so though.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! You may have arrived late to the party, but that's the spirit of a spontaneous contests. There were a few freebies, but with 1825 songs available, those who dug deeper and posted good entries should be guaranteed a better chance at winning.

When did your streak start? Mine started when I was 7 and won a pokemon guide from a television call in thing.
