So I was looking through the blanket permissions, and realized that we actually have a load of artists whom we have permissions for, but don't have songs in game. More often than once I've looked into this thread in the hope of exploring new music from artists I didn't know before, but as I'm usually hoping to listen to only certain genres, it's not worth the effort to check out every artist just to find the few that produce music of that genre.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to attach the primary genre(s) of an artist after the artist's name in the first post? It's something I'd like to see. Obviously there's a lot of work to be done for that to work, but I've thought of some community like thing where people can just chip in for the artists they're familiar with. Anyone else want to see this?

Bulb, as in Misha Mansoor from Periphery? He is one of my old friends from the meshuggah forums. I've been trying to get onto him for over a year to give us permission.
He is rarely/never on msn/aim, and he doesn't visit the meshforum anymore ;___;

As for the Hiro thing, I did originally contact him for use of Carol Megamix only. I never even found it on a website, I found it from a simfile Tank101 made back in the 1700s.

Did some searching and it was an O2Jam song so I went onto the O2Jam forums and found the guy then talked to him on MSN about it. There was no website that I was ever aware of. He's only made like 4 songs

Sampling Masters CHANG is actually a CanBlaster pseudonym.

RaZoR was a friend of Freak (LI step-artist) and the song file is still on this site.

Ok so i am new to this but i think i got permission from Tim Ismag a new producer with some dubsteppy stuff but its good. you can check some of his stuff out here http://soundcloud.com/timismag and this is what i got from him

so i think we can use any of his songs as long as they are under 2 mins. *shrugs* if someone else thinks different or can clarify this or if i should contact him to clarify .. idk im new to this lol but if anyone that steps likes this stuff step it
