It was tearing her apart,
She couldn’t go on living,
With her broken heart.
She knew she was loved,
But she didn’t care,
Then she spotted the pistol,
Just lying there.
She started to cry,
As she picked it up,
Death welcomed her,
Life wasn’t good enough.
She didn’t deserve them,
She couldn’t decide,
She wiped dry her tears,
And then she sighed.
She lifted the pistol,
Up to her head,
She pulled the trigger,
And shot herself dead.
She fell to the ground,
The gun dropped with a thud,
And her body went limp,
She was content with death,
Although she cried,
For she didn’t want,
To leave them behind.
