I honestly don't know where to post this or anything. I don't know if it will get locked or flamed or anything, but I have to try something...


I'm in a situation here, I think I need to do something but I'm not quite sure on what I should do. I don't really think any opinions would change my mind on what I want to do though.

I met someone a few months ago, on ODI. I spent time talking to that person, who is a girl, and started to like her. It may be pretty pathetic if you say so, but we are "going out". (even though this is just online crap right now, but I don't care) We're supposed to really meet for the first time during the meetup here in Kansas City next summer. Over the last few months I guess we had grown quite attached to each other. Enough for me to say that I really love her, even if I just know her through the computer.

Earlier tonight...she told me some stuff. How something about this is emotionally damaging her for some reason. How she can't handle or deal with it right now. Much of the reason is because we really can't see each other in person. She lives in LA, California, while I live in Kansas City, Missouri. 1600 miles land are between us.

I had been talking about somehow going to see her for this Christmas. Waiting until the summer (we would be waiting one year) seemed just too long of a wait. She said that it would probably be best if we waited for the summer. How it might mess things up with her parents, cancelling her trip this summer if I came down there and if they found out some stuff. So I forgot about it, and had my mind set on waiting for the summer. Now that this happened, I think that it really is best to go see her this Christmas. I have to do something about it, I can't sit and wait another 7 months, especially after hearing this...

Here's my true problem. I have $200, and it will cost probably around $1,000 to make the trip. It will probably be $200 - 300 in gas just to drive ONE WAY. There's about $500 in gas alone, then I need a hotel and money for food and all this other stuff. I also have no job. I've tried quite a few times to get one around town, but not enough places hire people my age (15 currently, even though I'm ALMOST 16).

I've got to get the money, any way I can. I have to go. But without a job, it will be near impossible. It already would be near impossible even WITH a job though.

So I've gone this low....(in my opinion. Doing this is pretty much my last resort) I've got to get the money, and I have a month to do it. My parents won't be much help, because they have no money anyway. I could probably get SOME from them, but it wouldn't be enough. Given the situation, and if you guys had some money to spare, would you donate it to me so I could go and see her? Even if there's a chance that I might not be able to pay you back, (larger donations (if I even get any) will CERTAINLY be paid back).

I hate even bringing this up, but I need the money more than anything else right now...
