If you have AVG Free, delete it immedietely now, it gains your trust, and then turns back on you and destroys your computer.

safemode > add/remove programs > avg

    And so have I... trust me, I have had it for a longgg time, working perfectly, then BAM.

    It totally made it so I couldn't open anything, trust me it's horrible.
    No need to explain, just delete it from your computer before it happens to you.

    It depends on how you maintain AVG. It certainly will not go nuts on you on its own. It must have gotten infected but that's not AVG's fault, hehe. Somebody must have downloaded something nasty or went to an infected site. Viruses just don't appear in your computer out of nowhere. ;)

    I never do anything to it, it just simply opens up, does a check, and I click done. Nothing else.
