Memories

If I were to go away and leave you here, would you still
watch the sunsets and count the stars
and what if tomorrow never comes?
Would you still wait for me in that eternity?

Would you miss me, even just a little?
Two worlds apart, but so close at heart.
Living under the same sky, but miles away in our steps.
But thinking and dreaming on the same shores.

We hurt ourselves
And we hurt the people around us.
Still we ran like the wind, with our laughter making the
world of worry around us disapear.

And those nights we sat under the night sky; without a
care in the world.
There in our own back yard, dreaming of the places we wish
to see.

all those memories that imprinted our hearts; of the days
when all was pure.
Innocent hearts carved into the truck of a tree.

But I still remember those promises we made back then.
We were so young, but we never forgot them.

That no matter where we are, we all live under the same
sky;

And when the final moments of breath pass through your
heart;;
Would you still watch the sunsets, and count the stars?
Because one day tomorrow might not come..
Would you still wait for me in that eterinity?
