What?!? Kwik isn’t DEAD?!?
so… we all love those classic files by Nestlekwik. The ones that have been on the site for years longer than we have. The ones that seemingly were here before Synthlight himself. Classic files such as Secret Zombie Room, Breaking the Common, and Trip to the Moon. And yet… not one of his files is hard. He is the original dore.
Anyway… why do I mention all this? Well, first off, because Kwik is an awesome dude and deserves the recognition. But, more importantly, he made a new file for FFR. His first in at least 3 years. And it is REALLY REALLY REALLY hard. Well….. no. No, it isn’t really hard at all. a low 2.0/6, I believe.
So, if you’re looking forward to playing the new Kwik song, check back in some time this evening for more details!

Top 1000 Players T-Shirts Now Available!
So many of you wanted a T-Shirt with your name on it. Now you finally have your chance! As many people saw at the convention, we had about 300 Top 1000 Player T-Shirts made for the event and now we are selling those T-Shirts to the public. They come in just about every size imaginable from small to 2XL and are available to purchase and ship immediately! There is currently no shipping charge unless you live outside of the U.S. (-Moo- Yours is on the way and is signed!)
We showed you a sneak peak last week. The shirts required 4 seperate screens on 2 sides and 6 coats of paint. It was truly a monumental task to get these shirts printed. We have done everything in our power to keep the price of these shirts low for you. This includes driving the shirts nearly 1000 miles to avoid FedEx charges.
Check them out:
–>>You Can Buy Them Here While They Last<<--
On a side note let me thank everyone for being part of the convention this weekend. We had a great turnout and so many of of you showed up and helped out with the convention. I cannot believe we worked that room for like 15 hours or more. It was a crazy time and I will detail it more in a seperate news story tomorrow.
Songs of the Week, 2nd week of April
We have 2 songs this time, and 1 skill token song related one of those songs.
SotW #1 of this week is Fig Leaf Rag.
This song is composed by Scott Joplin, performed by Benjamin Robert Tubb.
1st song by S. Joplin / B. R. Tubb on FFR was Maple Leaf Rag, and this is the 2nd song.
Steps are by pokelda. It has slow 16th short streams with jumps as well as Maple Leaf Rag,
but has some more tricky patterns so it’s harder to keep combo.
Difficulty rating is 4.5/6 (Challenging), I think it’s still 4/6 though.
You can currently find this song in Funk section.
SotW #2 is Dazzling Soul, speedy song.
It’s the first Oster Project’s song publically released on FFR. Oster has so many cool variety
of songs on muzie page and we have blanket, Check it out. Steps are by hi19hi19.
BPM(165) is semi-fast, has many doubles and some 24ths.. so it’s a quite challenging song.
Difficulty rating is high 4.5/6 (Challenging), let’s try to FC(full combo) this and prove your skill!
This song is currently in Funk section.
And.. another skill token song is Dazzling Destiny, arranged version of Dazzling Soul.
Sub-title of this song is “Advanced Soul”, so it’s a kind of.. advanced version.
Song is of course by Oster Project, Steps are by Kit-.
BPM(170) is a bit faster, and has more bursts so in my opinion it’s harder than Dazzling Soul,
especially harder to hit bursts accurately. Difficulty Rating is 5/6 (Very Challenging).
You need to FC Dazzling Soul to play this song.
Have fun with SotW,
Token 14, finally public!
After a hectic day at the convention, we found the time to release the 14th token.
Your hint: Today is April 14th, 2007. What were we doing all day long? and Where are we doing it?

It will be the very first shirt printed and I will sign this shirt myself with my horrible signature and deliver it to your door for absolutely no cost. You can respond as many times as you want in the news story (that should make it interesting). I only ask that you try to respond respond with real words. Lets make it something interesting to read.
