We have finally come to the end of FFR’s 16th Official Tournament! 94 songs released involving 28 new Musicians, contested between 252 players for the best score, over 2 months of tournament-filled, edge-of-the-seat competition.
We will be working tirelessly to ensure that all the prizes and awards are distributed to the participants of the 16th Official Tournament. However, I want to take this opportunity to express my immense gratitude once again to the OT committee and went through tons of submissions meticulously fine-tuned the song choices and difficulties for this tournament. The magnitude and quality of this event would simply not be achievable without their contributions.
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in the tournament, engaged in discussions, and joined us for the previews. The warmth and camaraderie of this community are beyond compare, and I feel truly fortunate to be part of such a friendly and supportive group.

We’re going to be taking a short break to finalize anything and everything related to the Official Tournament, as such there is no ‘Songs of the Week’ for a small bit as well.
Also a short reminder that if you did participate in the Official Tournament and you feel like you haven’t received your prizes by let’s say, Thursday, August 31th, 2023, then please post in the Official Tournament thread or contact Velocity directly through DM’s and we’ll work on getting it resolved!

Impressive to see top 3 D8 with similar scores and within reach of a AAA. The livestreams before each round were fun! Congratulations to all winners and participants for your efforts and keeping the community active! Shoutouts to the staff for their work and the stepfile artists who contributed to this event
