FFR Multiplayer Socket Server Update ..
Well, some of you guys may love this, and likely some of you will hate this. As you know, we have done some updates to “FFR Multi-Player Music Game” to get some of the more obvious exploits out. Yes, it is certainly hard to find everything, but we are doing what we can.
For the sake of our server performance .. we have nailed down some of these bugs. For those of you that hate exploiters, you will likely cheer with glee. The exploiters however, will likely bleat in dismay (some will even show themselves for who they are in comments of previous posts … but go unnamed).
In addition to the cleanup .. and to further combat spam and associated spammers.. we have implemented some new functions to the socket server, that specifically a role of a new FFR Multiplayer Moderator. You will likely notice that as things go forward, more mods will be added to help keep the multiplayer chat room all nice and user friendly.
If you feel you may be up to the task shoot a comment in here, weather the likely flames and let us know what you guys think overall.
Finally, we have a change to the FFR MultiPlayer Scores. The latest thing in MultiPlayer Scores in the Top 50 section is that the scores shown are from the most recently active users. Simply stated, this means that these high scores are from users that have been active in the last 30 days.
So all you folks that have been braggin’ about those monster scores you had 6 months back, better pony up if you intend to keep your name up in lights.

Overall I would think that Experience and seniority would matter the most and would be key in becoming a mod. However, including myself, I would like to wish us the best of luck.

srry for the double post and i guess the second time i’ve metions this but.
1. 2766927 Biff_tech / mc2w X-Dreamer Final Cut 436945 / 390205 6/21/06 is the stats of the last game i played right obviously I won, yet my mp bar decreased by half, the guy was a lvl eight i was lvl 12, but i dont think i should go down for winning????
2.And i don’t think anyone answered me but it’s either my web browser or somthing cause the judgements seems to have gone up which basically means i can’t get averages which means it makes it hard for me to combo sometimes and yeah starting to piss me off…..*again PA is still fairly good*

hey biff….firefox works the best…i dont know if thats what you are using but internet explorer has been really gay to ffr…so if your not using firefox, your browser might be the problem.

I never knew there was a top 50 for multiplayer, so maybe I’ll work my way up someday. But until then, I’ll just have fun trying to compete

I found an exploit.
Here’s what you do:
Login to the game as a Anonymous. You will see that you have FFR credits there due to the fact many people are playing online as Anonymous. This means you can transfer those credits to any account you wish.
And yes, I admit I did take advantage of this a couple of times until I found out it was a bug.

Being a mod is ok with me… I just need to know what do I have to quallify in, is it just chat stuff or is it all the advanced Java stuff… im not really good at that. Anyways, what ever suits you guys, if you need a spare, im here.

guys I’ve never seen before are asking to be mods, hopfuly you guys are giving better consideration to the ffr vet’s, Shash was a good choice for first mod, and I think LD said there was a couple more allready picked to do it, but heh, how many of them are on ffr(some part of it anyway, be it the forum, the game/mp chat or the video chat) every single morning(for like 1-2hours), most afternoons, and every night?

shashakiro is a great MOD I like him.I really want to help moerate the FFR Multiplayer because alot of people break the rules and say there 11,12,10 years old and they keep asking people personal questions that’s none of their business.Thank you that is all I want to say

I believe I am a perfect candidate for a FFR Multiplayer moderator position.
I am 16 years old, female, from New York. I spend over six hours a day on FFR, where I’m found in the Multiplayer Lobby. I’ve watched FFR progress from new layout to new changes over time. I’ve had my oldest username, egonomic, for 2.97 years, which as you can see, shows my experience in the changes of the site. Ever since Multiplayer came out, I’ve been active to stop spam before the moderator appeared, and most, if not all of the people who visit Multiplayer has seen me or has talked to me. I’ve been on this username, n3v3rl4nd, for 0.54 years, all of it spent in the Multiplayer Lobby and occasionally versing a participant.
FFR has been giving to the people all this time, and I hope to be the one chosen to give back to FFR. Shashakiro is a great moderator, but I hope to join a moderator position as well, and as you can see, I’m good for the job! Thank you for taking the time to read this! Bye!

This has nothing to do with any of this, but whenever chaosrock08 and I send each other challenges, neither of us get the message back telling us if we won or lost. The number of credits changes accordingly, but that’s the only clue we get telling us that the challenge was accepted by the other person. If you could do something about this, that’d be great!

Hi. Okay this might sound strange, but i have always wanted to be a MOD. I am always in the multiplayer lobby and its ridiculous sometimes the way people act. It would be great to do this! If you need someone please ask me because that would be great!
