DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
Well we did it, over 5 years I have reached this point...
It's time for me to do the hardest thing and say goodbye. This has been a great community but unfortually my life has caught up to me. I'm studying to become an IT guy at my college and trying to go in comp. Smash Bros Ultimate. Yes you heard me correct, I'm leaving FFR for good. Life on FFR was great, until my work as it was an 8 hour job. I was the little 14 year old kid on FFR but now I grown up. I need to focus on more urgent things and college is one of them. I will still be here if anyone wants to chat but like my mama always said "Post more memes" <- Did not say that :P. Anyways the point is I finally reached a point in my life where this is not intresting anymore. In fact I like making stepfiles more than playing the game. It's funny I always hated making stepfiles, it got more fun when I got into it. The Run down is this: - Quiting FFR - Getting my certificate or degree in information technology - Maining Inkling in Smash to try to get into comp. - Maintain my Youtube channel - Say my thanks Speaking of thanks, I want to thank some people that inspired me to play: _Fluttershy_: No surprise he inspired my name and one of the first people I met that was a Brony. Watched replays of you BTW keep it up. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/.../_Fluttershy_/ Rapta: Being an overall good friend to me and a subscriber of his channel. Keep the speed rate to 1000 my guy, your fast. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/profile/Rapta/ Bedrocksolid: Although not talking much, I still consider him a good friend as we got along playing multiplayer with me and having good times. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/.../BedrockSolid/ Xiz: Givning me juicy stepfiles like Splinter. Got into those artist I like because of him. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/profile/Xiz/ Zorack24: For supporting me though every tourney I go through. Also for keeping up with me in that last one bro. :P http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/profile/zorack24/ ALL MODS AND STAFF: Thanks for making this a wonderful enviroment. I will be leaving after the tournment and holy smokes get on that bad boy, hopefully -_-. "Be somone, Be Honest, Be Better" |

Re: DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
Dont worry brother, maybe in a few years you may come back. When life is more chill and you have a routine going. Like you, I also quit FFR for 4 years in the past to do the exact same thing: Finish school. After that was done tho, I had my routine down and that gave me more free time, so I came back. Maybe the same will happen for you.
I wish you luck in all your future endeavors friend! PS: PM me your social media or something? So we can keep in touch |

Don't quit, you're basically one of the only D3 players I know and have been actively playing against in the OT! I NEED your competition!

Re: DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
no one quits arrow game, they just take breaks, arrow game is a lifestyle
hopefully all goes well, I'm sure eventually you'll randomly feel like playing again, even if you aren't playing FFR competitively anymore it can always be fun to just hop on and play some songs you like. |

Re: DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
I just saw your post on my profile and then I check the homepage and see this thread. It's a shame to see you leave but I get it: 5 years is quite a while - hell, I've been playing for 8 years almost but the addiction of the game and my annoying trait of wanting to improve and grind scores gets the best of me.
Thanks for the shoutout! It's been great getting to know you and chat to you over the years. I hope to see you from time to time and hopefully we'll keep in touch (through Discord or something?). Have a good one, bro!! And keep stepping! Who knows? You may, one day, submit a file to FFR! Brohoof /)

Re: DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
Oh shoot man, good luck with everything. I haven't been on FFR in forever thanks to no Byron support (until recently), but I hope you've been well and that you'll keep doing well. I don't think you have to quit for real though, maybe you'll come back in the future or at least play every once in a while like I am. I dunno though, I love rhythm games and I know it would be ridiculously hard to quit them. In any case, good luck with your life. Glad I helped you somehow, even though it was pretty small.

Re: DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
Not trying to discredit your accomplishments but why make this dramatic exit if you care about certain people? You don’t have to play FFR to visit the website and stay in touch.

Re: DJ Vinyl saying a final goodbye to FFR
Here is my YouTube link if anyone is interested https://www.youtube.com/user/KoastKraft
And to answer some of your questions, I don’t plan on interacting, playing or talking to anyone on here anymore as everyone will just bother me to come back. Plus I have more important things to do. Mahon question is interesting as most of my friends are on my discord anyways and won’t need to visit site anymore. Please don’t bother me to rejoin |
