EBWOP: YMIA also voted freaky, putting his vote count at 2, and the total number of votes on freaky at 8.

we should probably vote for james may seeing as he is useless, playing another game on mafiascum (which has strict activity requirements that he isn't meeting here), and failing to deliver on his commitments to contribute while also refusing to give up his spot in the game.

in the vacuum of bad information and white noise that is day one, and given where the thread has currently come to, i can't see why you would want to kill anyone else.

It could also go the other way though. Playing on mafiascum means he just doesn't take this forum's game seriously.

So you're rationalizing the behavior and thereby tacitly accepting it?

I asked him to give up his spot in this game for this very reason. He did not. I also asked fojar to replace him.

He should be lynched or replaced. There is 20+ pages that he has done absolutely fuck-all on over five days.

The thing that makes it aggravating is I told him to replace, he said he was going to come make a big contribution.

I never said he was a helpful player, and I would love him to be replaced

Right the thing is, though, you have to get into the headspace where you are playing another game (which should remind you of the other games you have going on), someone asked you to replace, and you said no you were going to make a big contribution and you still wanted to play.

Getting a replacement is often better for wolves than humans, so I'd like to see him pressured because the replacement or him coming in without a bunch of pressure to perform will make it so he can continue to skate by as a null read.

This is an important thing on day 1, because if he appears day 2 after someone is dead and he can have gone by an entire phase without committing to any associations. I want this pressure, because I'm not convinced on a lot of our potential lynches but I am convinced that James May's slot could become a serious problem for us.

Every time I get spread thin with this stupid game by having too many going on I replace immediately unless I am tactically UTR.

Danceguy seems like he could be a solid player. I am hesitant on lynching him as of right now, and don't like it that there is a bandwagon on him so quickly.

                  james

V, I fail to see the difference between zoshi and james however. In fact, zoshi's posts are worse than james. This vote right now is to prevent further momentum on danceguy. There has been no attempt to defend him so far, and him being a potential quality player, there deserves a defence.

What manti said could equally be true for other players. TPS for instance.

Do not bandwagon anymore. It's terrible for the game.

Re: TWG XCV: Nobody messes with the frog, see

                    couple things freaky:

                    1. the difference between zoshi and james is zoshi has commited to four votes giving us a semblance of the possible associations. on day 3 (if there is a serial killer) whether or not humans win will be a matter of heavy vote-count analysis, which is an extremely different playstyle than what we are doing now. we will need to review who made what associations when. we have some of that with zoshi because nothing speaks louder than a vote and he has made four.

                    2. bandwagons are the only way we learn anything, and we shouldn't be afraid of them. a bandwagon is great up until the point where it is 2 votes away from lynch. when a bandwagon gets one vote away from lynch we should all start very seriously considering what we are doing, but up until that point bandwagons are very helpful and useful because we can get more information than we could otherwise without necessarily having to lynch someone.

we have two full days to come to a conclusion, and i believe i should target those areas where i have gaps in my knowledge rather than feeling some false sense of immediacy about the lynch because it is saturday. i have full confidence we will lynch someone Monday, most of the almost-lynches we have had happened in the course of an afternoon.

I don't think we should lynch james may, because it provides us with no information. Everyone hates an inactive.
