But the thread you showed was actually pretty different, and I think some of the forum rules are too harsh. This is FFR general talk, but whenever I create a thread someone says "there's already a thread about it" or "you should have posted it at the X forum". This is REALLY annoying. I understand you are trying to avoid unnecessary and repetitive threads, but this is a bit too much.

If there are videos that demonstrate "vibration", I would be glad to take a look at it... I don't comprehend the term or its method. The brief period of "vibration" in the CP videos are too short... Does it require certain keyboards? Arm/hand positions etc.

Death Piano is overstepped, in the sense of human capability... but even the SM file doesn't incorporate all of the first/second piano, not to mention any of the third/fourth. The 12th jump jacks in the FFR version would need both Shash's interwoven runningmen AND 24th trills inside the jump jacks, to make it accurate to the song itself WITHOUT representing each piano with an arrow... <_> That's obviously not the only part missing arrows, but it's already a horrifying yet interesting thought.

Even if I do learn vibration, I won't be able to do vibration due to the structural deficiencies of my left hand, so I'll never FC Crowdpleaser.

This reminds me of a question I've had for a while but never asked. Is it okay to use one key layout but change styles while adhering to the same layout? How about a different layout? Midday, I was thinking you could play using the arrow keys (most of the song isn't too hard to play using the arrow keys) and then vibrate the trill one-handed, finally quickly reverting to spread after the megatrill.

well say you have a Death Piano score.

It's a Full combo. There is 1,800 boos. That is near impossible to get usingjust one set of keys. It's DS. The highest i've ever gotten on DP was 1,237 boos and that was mashing everything on the song

people are constantly complaining about how easy ffr files are, and I was sick of their b*tching, so I converted shash's dp by removing all the retarded sections while still maintaining difficulty

at the time of its release it was WAAAAAY harder than any other ffr file (if any mentions vrofl in response to this they should die), so it illustrated my words very well

Whether or not this was the intent, I have to concur with Rubix. I can appreciate hard files, undoubtedly. However, "let's make a stepfile so unfriendly to the human race even top tier players will laugh at how difficult it is".

I do not understand this obsession with files like Death Piano, Amber Shores, etc. After a point, it just becomes about how fast you can vibrate and nothing else. Speed seems to be all the rage, now. Files are no longer fun. I've no intention of becoming "top tier SM player" because frankly, things like Linus' BS and 1000bpm Jackhammer are not my cup of tea.

"Step it this way and only this way because we all like generic files". I haven't played many fun charts as of late, because they all play the exact ****ing same. I miss experimental files, or something that is completely absent from files any longer: creating your own rhythms with the steps. That is nonexistent now. Technical accuracy seems to override that as a priority.

Frankly SG, hi19's MAMA file is more fun to play than all of your files ****ing put together because it's different and interesting to play. For you, it's PR, layering, PR, layering. This is why I hate your files. This is why I hate the SM community's picks. They don't stand out.

On that note, let's put Howdnbshouldbestepped onto FFR. That'd be fun, right? It's certainly hard! Must be.

1800 boos is easy without DS.
