BB Code in signature is restricted?

I had no clue that this was possible, but for some reason HTML embeds, image embeds and some other random crap that I'll never use is restricted from use in my signature.
Not sure why, is it because I am new here?
Pls help

HTML is turned off.

If you want an image, use ['img']['/img'] without the ''s (Image BB Code is turned on), and link a URL to a standalone image somewhere (works for jpg,png,gif,etc.)

On my end Image BB Code is restricted. If I use the tags for it, it just tells me that BB code img is not allowed. Every item from "List BB code" down to "HTML BB code" is disabled. And the permissions "Can upload photo for signature" and "Can upload animated GIF for signature" are also not allowed. Is there anything on my side I can do?

Don't think there's anything you can do in that department. There's restrictions on newer accounts and number of posts/age for forum spambot protection. They'll get alleviated over time.
