I'm a big fan of voting out a lower poster, but not a 0 poster. Especially not in a 9 players game. In a 16 players game I wouldn't mind.

I don't love Lar's push on Weiss now that we know they might take a random town with them if they die. However it does fit along with Lar's general hatred for inactives and I don't see it as necessarily wolfy coming from him, even if I think it's the wrong play

I don't think it's indicative of anything either, but I would like for MML to come back and comment on what haku brought up and see how it affects him

Hmm, okay; not really sure how to respond to this? Like, would it help if I describe my general process/approach to games?

Typically, at the very beginning of day 1 I'll be more chill/hang out with whoever's around; in this case it was basically just leetic, so yeah, lot of mechanics talk!!

For day 1 I'll try and get a basic overview of the game/get at least an initial read on everyone in the game, and at minimum get a full readlist out to orientate myself at first, for small games like this at least!!

This day is a bit weird because it's so short and I haven't really been here for a high-activity portion of the game where everyone checked in, but currently I'm focusing on seeing where people are taking solid stances for future reference!! For instance, I had noticed melon was voting Weiss earlier which is basically a nothing vote, meaning I want to get more thoughts from them on the rest of the game!!!

I'm of the opinion that even though we don't have much info now, day 1 is often the most important day of the game to look back on later, especially if you get the chance to look back in endgame when you have a lot of flips; it's like... it's just all about generating any information we can right now, if that makes sense? There's a good chance this info may not be that useful right now, but let's take melon's response to me earlier for example: if for instance Haku flips mafia, then I think melon would be very unpaired for the way that they brought up Haku out of the blue, and also it brings up info about you that could be useful to keep in mind later in the game!! Alternatively if melon flipped mafia, I'd then clear Haku because similarly, it'd be against their own agenda to bring up suspicion on a partner who was getting read as top town!!!



So in short, a lot of this is trying to establish information for future days; pacing myself, so to speak!!

The one deathpost is certainly a more unique aspect!!! I think I've seen it elsewhere before, but I've seen a lot of communities; I know for sure it's a thing in a certain type of in-person mafia, where someone who is killed gets 1 minute to speak before they have to leave!!

@HnH: if it's that Raeko quote it doesn't really change how I feel. It's a 1/9th chance anyway and honestly keeping an inactive around is less helpful then two dead town's worth of info going into Day 2

I wouldn't say passive, I think he's prodding everywhere and not focusing too much on any one subject. That's what gives the town lean for me

That would help, but more specifically why you would town read a certain player or wolf read another.

The reason is so if you flip during the night, we can read your posts and try to make connections.

Well, host confirmed they would be getting replaced instead of killed, so there's that. Also it's a 1/9 chance, but it's guaranteed to kill a town, which I'm surprised you don't think is a big deal
