I generally use it as the former and I think most people here do

Egregious Miscalculations didn't feel like a wolf game to me because I didn't knew who were my wolf partners. I had no pressure about any "wolf elements".
I just did whatever I wanted and I was pressure free. What makes wolf games hard is when I know who are my other partners because I have to worry about what they're doing.

shado's scumreads of haku/sunfan based on metaish things (or lack of knowledge of their meta, supposedly) are worrisome because I feel like he should know this stuff and be reading them better

I'm not very suspicious of him after his latest string of priggish posts.
Say what you will about him, I think the rate at which he gets better as a player is absurd, and I've told him as much. I feel as though his wolfgames and towngames have been meshing exceptionally, as highlighted in the lone wolf game. His one tendency is to totally meltdown under significant pressure as wolf, but he showed no sign of doing that here (even though there wasn't significant pressure). Instead, he chose to tunnel into me super hard. I'm softclearing him town at least until next phase, but there's always time for him to melt down later.
