I'm town reading AA for asking questions to Witch. Witch is not here. Sunfan probably won't be here soon.
Xel probably doesn't want to talk to me because he thinks I'm stupid.
MML is already town read for me straight up for activity.
I liked Prophylaxis big posts and they felt genuine.
DBP is somewhere between null and townish for me so, I guess Hello! \o

DPB didn't give me as much as I was expecting to be honest but I'm ok painting him slight green. Liked his re-entrance even though I don't think much came of it. Tone seemed good, didnt seem fake etc

Freezin's started trying to solve the game after that lost post. Want to see me but ok not lynching today as of right now. I still think that role Play gimmick is anti-town though.

Charu....I mean, I sympathize with not feeling the game but hoping I can see more Charu tomorrow before EoD before placing him. I feel like he could go either way because he really did crawl into the backseat when things got pretty real there for awhile.

Proph looked good last I saw him but again want to see more of him.

I'm not expecting Roundbox to be back for some time and that's pretty null for him. Could go either way but assuming he drops the mad posts that he's known for when he returns and shows some effort I'm willing to give him a pass.

Not too impressed with what Witch has brought to the table, which would be fine but I feel that in their interaction with Raeko they're intentionally trying to answer with the least amount of words. I don't know if I believe they believe all of their reads, ie that read on Shado and why a wolf wouldn't do what he did.

Shado trending down for me. Didn't like the interaction he had with AA, don't like how him and Xel are suddenly cool when as far as I can tell all Xel did was repeat himself.

The most polite way to say how I feel about Xel is that I don't get the sense he's invested in most of the game.

Let's be clear though, chances that Xel and Shado are wolf buddies together seem really slim but I'd wager there is, indeed, a wolf between them.

Why do you feel me and Xel are "suddenly cool"? I've been townreading Xel since his queue posts, and he's been townreading me to the point of unknowingly putting me in his townpile twice.
Why do you get the feeling that Charu wasn't "feeling the game"? He has the most posts, and while his posts were primarily reactive (dropping little tidbits on everything happening as it has happens), he definitely had his share of participation.

Ok well

Roundbox will helpfully be back soon with his textwall and now that I'm looking down here DBP and Proph have shown up so hopefully they catch up and give thoughts.

I'm going to step away and play Overwatch while I wait for that to happen.

I'm also recording stuff today so not sure when I'll be back but I will be back for EoD

In the first of his two posts he quoted, he explains (pretty well) how he sees a post of Shado's as townish and says he's not getting lynched anytime early on the way he's going. I don't see how that is strongly defending Shado himself as town, only saying that he has at least one good post and isn't likely to be lynched if he keeps it up.

How did I twist what you said? You're essentially asking me to come up with scum leans/reads when I've found nothing, hence my response. I'm still challenging your one real scum read without any good answer yet btw.

I don't know, all I know is that I feel like he's town and has reliable judgement, so I'm willing to follow what he thinks in the absence of having come up with anything I want to pursue myself. That is not saying "sunfan is town and I'll vote whoever he does without explanation!"

but that's the whole problem: you're essentially doubling someone else's vote while simultaneously not thinking for yourself

Pressure voting anyone besides a new player is silly, anyone with some experience can tell when not to be afraid of a vote. A mild suspicion doesn't justify a serious vote to me, deal with it. To me, it should, or at least that you have enough of a case on them that you're willing to declare your intent to see them lynched if it sticks. "Scummy enough" means you can bring a concrete case to show that they're scum.

you don't need a concrete case to think someone is scum. you also don't need a concrete case to get other people to think someone is scum. pressure voting can do wonders for players of all experience, because a pressure vote can easily turn into a more serious vote if not addressed.

He flat out said he wasn't feeling the game at one point this isn't up for debate. I called him out for it and he was basically like "yep"

Even if he didn't, you can tell Charu isn't really trying that hard when he resorts to gifs and purely reaction posts. He did say he'll try again today IIRC, and that's good but he just hasn't gotten here yet I don't think. We'll see

I don't have a concrete case for why xel is scum outside of what I've told you:

he's meh this game to me (this is a meta read and you'll have to deal with it)
his focus on people townreading shado is very strange and I'm not really following how it comes from a town perspective. he had a post where he said something along the lines of "I don't see how anyone can be wolfreading shado besides mellon/raeko"

do I need more? I think it'd be nice, but no, I don't think I need more.

I'm not so stupid to just scumread someone because they straight up aren't there, but when people actively avoid questions that are generating the pressure then it's nagl and generally turns into a scumread, yes. town generally have an easier time answering questions than wolves do so it's more effective than you might think

I only have 2 wolf wins in this entire forum.

1. Turbo IV with Charu where I die early on and Charu wins alone.
2. Egregious Miscalculations where everyone is technically a serial killer instead of a wolf.

I fail miserably in every other wolf games.

It's very simple, I'm not "this" confident ever as a wolf.
It's not "omg you could do it", it's literally "it never happened".

1st point: isn't he saying he likes our interactions? why are you then asking what he doesn't like?
2nd point: it would make sense if he's referring to how you suddenly called him out on a contradiction and now seem to be ok with it.
3rd point: charu has said multiple times he's not feeling this game/doesn't have energy
4th point: valid, but that doesn't really suggest that he's wrong, that just asks for more reasoning
