Twelve Days of FFRmas: Hard Pain edition @_@ files are good but lmao, the files are more catered to D4-D6 players lol (in terms of difficulty) but the files are good, and my favourite files so far are milky blue (though cetaka's version is still better, sorry nick lol) & when benguins fly :3

Just saying that the full title for Milky Blue is Milky Blue ~不思議の国のリドル~ which translates to Milky Blue ~Riddle in Wonderland~. Dunno if the later should be used.
(http://www.ymck.net/works/album.html#2) From the album ファミリーレーシング - Family Racing (2005). Btw, those song choices are very good so far. I like them. ![]()

I personally don't think Milky Blue is an 85.

I came to this thread to say the same thing. Rage Template, Pandora, Canary are 85. This doesn't have anywhere near enough spikes or hard sections in general to be close to those.
Mily Blue actually plays like a 79. It's just a slightly harder No Purpose Flour. It's definitely not as hard as Higan. I sightread 70 goods on it completely cold, but on a good run I could see myself teen-ing it. It's just not very hard. Even the walls are deliciously rollable, and I'm not even fast.

280 BPM streams do not belong in the 79 category, lmao. I'd say leave it at 85, or lower it to 83-84 because of lenient patterns.
EDIT: Forgot to say that Milky Blue looks pretty fun, the spinstream though welp Last edited by EzExZeRo7497; 12-19-2012 at 10:52 AM.. |

You don't have to agree with me that it's a 79, but surely you don't think a song that requires no jumptrilling or jumpglutting whatsoever and plays like silk is buddies with RAGE TEMPLATE, and above My Half and Storm Raid, and two levels above Tenimuhou. It's a long file, and in terms of "teh urn"-ness I could see people calling it an 82, but for a file that has less missbait than Blue Rose and less challenging density than Indo, 85 is retarded to me.

I agree with 79 or 80. This just cannot be one difficulty under RAIN. I mean, what?
Then again, keep it at 85 so I can get my first brutal AAA ![]() Edit: I should say get close to my first brutal AAA cause I will never actually keep my nerves in control enough to do that.

What's this? A hard YMCK file that I might be able to FC? Not sure if believe.
I could see it in the 82-83 range. It's long, fast, and tricky. Definitely worse than 11eleven, across rooftops, electro rush, integraation, and mephisto (all 81s) if you ask me. But yeah, it doesn't fit with the 85s.

I'd probably put it at 82, but that's just me.

the 24th jumpstream and 32nd sections look like murder and those spin transitions a;lskdfj
It looks more like an 84/5. I can't play it yet (lolgamblinghall) but those patterns are pushing it to 84 in my eyes compared to other 85's (just in FC sense, not taking AAA'ing or mashing into account). |

I personally think it's closer to 84, but I won't be too upset if it's only one point below what I think. |

lol, of course.
Yeah, definitely an 84 to me. those spins alk;dsfjadkjf (7-2-0-4) that long 24th jumpstream feels so awkward to me. file's so much fun thoughhhhhhhhh |

I'd probably put it at 83 actually, but I wouldn't really argue with 84. It is ridiculously fun though.

What are "spins"?
Anyway, streams are just streams. 280BPM JS is one thing but straight tappity tap notes? We're basically talking BB Revenge here. You guys are exaggerating how difficult it is to hit silky smooth patterns. This isn't Renai.

I feel like I should remind you that Reality is a 79, and also has "silky smooth" streams which are way shorter and ~35 bpm slower than this file.
edit: I looked it up, the 32nd streams are 294 bpm
