I didn't really care much for TS in the first place, but I tried for the token and just got bored fast. wasn't a great song (subjective) to begin with, and playing on their engine just made me worse. xP

Ok anyone here hating on ThridStyle. Sit back for a second.

Why are you people hating on not only the event, but the TS engine it's self? There's honestly nothing wrong with it. Their community is honestly way better than ours. We're trying to share a common interest and you people keep hating on them like elitist dumb asses. Manner the **** up or shut the hell up.

Now let me also add this: I didn't like the chart it's self which drove me away from playing it anymore than I did. But at least I can back up my dislike with this: I disagree with V4N's hold useage a lot and those patterns were absolutely awful to try and hit properly (and mind you reading it was hard enough with lag.) If the chart was better (in my opinion, everything I disagree with is completely a subjective argument based on personal preference) I'd have played it more.

If you guys really want to experience TS, go play Jig or any of a few of Zero's charts. Don't base your opinion on that one chart.

/End rant

This exactly. Anyway were credits given out yet? Last I checked I was 18th with an hour left to go before I went to sleep and my credits look unchanged.

I got some of the credits out but not all. I was sending out PMs to check for people's ffr names since some are different, but the site went down before I could finish.

minisora, C-Thug, ShaunFleming, zaqswe321, VSToL, jaimek, reb2, chrysler, noname219, FalcoPWNch, wat, kayotik, sayuncle990, DTDsphere and dopepope. I think that's everyone that I didn't get credits to yet because I was trying to check for their FFR name.

Stop whining kids. Its another FREE and UPDATED rhythm game. There are some nice features on TS. Music choice is a little low. It is a nice "breath of fresh air" when you want to try something different. It is a nice engine when played on SA with low settings. If it had more files that suited my tastes I would play more often. I will not be leaving FFR anytime soon for TS though.

The idea of cross site achievements are pretty cool. What other "rival" games would do this for you? Thats like playin some CoD and getting unlocks on BF3. "Sure its not my fave game, but, was really nice of the devs to work together to further my enjoyment of the genre"

also, Narwhals. That is all.

lol having a community only consisting of 20 active members of course its going to seem like it is a better community because its so small everyone gets along with each other. TS is on the same level as DF when it comes to its community. Cant really compare TS's "community" to FFRs.

And im sure there are plenty of reasons for people hating on TS the game, but for someone like myself I honestly see nothing special about the game that makes it worth playing. The game is pretty much a flash version of SM, the engine itself lacks tons of features it should have had from the start so even for the site being up for a year the game is far behind where it should be, "amod"/xmod really turns a lot of people away, music choice isnt even the best especially since its music choice is starting to end up just like FFRs so cant really say one site has better music choice, and the charts arent all that great. They can barely get anyone to submit files for that site so they keep dumping in pretty much whatever gets sent to them and there are just a lot of bad charts(opinion). Note this paragraph is my opinion on why I dislike TS, not saying this is what everyone who dislikes it thinks.

People are allowed to not like the game, I dont see why its such a big deal when a good amount of people say they dont like or hate the TS site/engine, its their opinion. Maybe they are just like nocturn and how he feels about FFR where he just doesnt like the engine. The engine is well made and high quality but maybe it just isnt in the users taste. People must have their reasons because people just dont tend to want to stay at TS.

It worked in the sense that it got me onto the site to try it. It failed in the sense that it made me realize I had less than 0 fun on that engine and am never going to play it again.

Jesus christ why is everyone hating on this shit. At least the staff here at FFR and at TS came together to create an event for you guys, damn.

Regardless of the issues between the two sites they came together to give you guys something that hasn't happened yet. By the way, I've been on their community now for a couple weeks and I honestly like it. I'd pop into chat every now and then and things are really fine. Not nearly half as much bullshit that goes on over here. Sorry to say it.

Just stop whining lol What's that ever going to get you? Nah, instead, keep whining and make the staff get so fed up that you get nothing and this site dies off like it did before, and when synth looks back at his work that he started and sees it fell apart because of greedy ignorant people, that'll make him so happy let me tell you.

Shit son.
