Lol. Mr. Rubix's 24 seconds to him is considered "bad".
I've never finished a rubix cube in my life. The most i've ever gotten was 7 blues on the same side. ![]() |

People don't seem to understand there's such a thing as an acceptable bump. Everytime someone bumps a thread, even if the bump is fine and acceptable, someone has to rush in and say "LOL YOUR DUM NOOB" and get some epenis points hi5 internet 8) cool |

Cool, I just broke my old record. I got lucky and cubed a 1:00 flat (well it was really a high :59, but I'm rounding to the nearest second). My improvements are nowhere as drastic as in the first two days when I could finish the entire cube without notes on how to solve it.

haha, I remember this thread!
When I posted before I was around 40 sec. It's been about a year, and I'm solving at about 19 seconds average with a best non-lucky of about 12 seconds. I'm not cubing as much now, but it's fun whenever I can. I remember back then when I thought I would never catch up to Rubix. Those were good times... ![]() 3x3 and 4x4 Blindfolded ftw! ![]() I'm nowhere near Rubix with blindfold solving though. I'm around 3-4 minutes... Last edited by f lee; 11-11-2008 at 04:57 PM.. |

I'd have to say my best time would be :40. Can't do it again unless I waste time solving it again.

Oh hey, it's a Rubik's Cube thread. Would you look at that.
My best average of 5 solves in an official competition (yeah, they have those... and I go to them >_>) is 14.71 seconds. I've even solved it blindfolded in a competition, but nowhere near as fast as Rubix, since I don't like blindfold solving. Maybe I spend too much time with these little plastic things. |

I know! You could have used any number of blog services, or the "notepad" program on your computer. I know, I sure am a swell guy for all my help. You don't even have to thank me, I'm that swell.

I am learning the Fridrich Method right now...Fastest Layer by Layer time is 1:30 or something a bit less.

Got a bunch of 20's and 19's in the vidchat today, as well as a 15. Didn't know I had it in me O.o My hands then proceeded to burn with the fury of a thousand suns.

didn't know you had it in you, yet you got this far in FFR.
anyways, my best is about 47 seconds (I could be wrong, it was nearly a year ago) with an avarage of 55 seconds. My cube is stiff now and I've no idea where it is.

Ha ha, I got lucky yesterday and got ~55 seconds since I got to skip about two or three consecutive moves. I plan to get a new cube; I'm borrowing a friend's for now since I don't actually have a decent cube.
