My best was at 4+ minutes, when my friend was teaching me the algorithms. After solving it, I never touched another cube.

Blindfold-solving the 3x3x3, my best non-lucky solve is around 49 seconds (memorization + execution).

I've also done a big-cube relay, where I solved like a 2x2x2, four 3x3x3's, a 4x4x4, and a 5x5x5 in a row, all blindfolded (i.e. mass memorization then mass execution)

Hmm im going to try blind-solving rubiks cubes, but i dont know the technique. Where did you learn how to do blindfold solves? could you hook me up with a link? =)

I just finished learning all the 21 PLL algorithms, problem is, it takes a few seconds to study what case i got.

Mine is currently at 1 year, some months and days. Still going, yet to solve. XD I suck at the Rubix cube.

That is probably the greatest video I have ever seen.

My 3x3 best is like 30 seconds and I used to have an average of around 45. My Revenge best is around 3:30 min. Stopped doing them both a while though.

meh, I don't have a cube anymore, since I left is somewhere at school last year lmao. However, I did time myself with this at my friend's house using one of his cubes around March. My best was 0:32.27 and my average was about 44 seconds.

I learned to solve a cube in October '07 and I use a f2l method I figured out myself. For the last layer, I use this one method I learned from a friend. I'm too lazy to try to memorize all the Fridrich stuff lol

I guess if I got a new cube I might try tho...

I recently got into cubing. I'm still using the beginner's method, but I got my average from 3:00+ to consistently less than 2:00. Best is 1:15. I don't really want to memorize all the advanced steps quite yet.

I spent 2 weeks solving a Rubik's Cube and never touched it again after that. I never saw the point in trying to see who can solve it the fastest, there are only so many solutions to solving a cube. It's worse when people just read a guide and do it that way. You didn't even try if you had to use a guide.

Layer by layer--best is :48, average is about 1:00... I need to learn another method, because layer by layer is horribly slow.
