You wrote your post with about as much teenage angst as the average emo kid exudes in a week complaining about how the game (according to you) is going to be delayed because of the 360 port (which it isn't). I take that to mean you're basically the kind of fan who has a calendar on the wall counting down the days until it comes out without doing much else in the meantime.

Also, using chat acronyms in a debate? Probably not the best way to get people to side with you.

I could care less about what some moderator on some forum thinks about my debating skills. Trust me that really doesn't grind my gears. The fact your(uh oh instance 3 LOL) going after minor grammatical errors is down right laughable. Is this english class? Mehbee i shud type lik dis yes? I can't believe you pointed out a grammatical error when the the entire post was completely legible. xD You might as well tell yourself and I, to indent on paragraphs. But don't that'd be going off topic. A moderator should know that.
You could care less, so why don't you? You must care a lot if you think you can care less.

your = you're

down right = downright

english = English

don't that'd = that would

In a debate, you can use anything your opponent does against him. I question your intelligence based on these numerous errors you're making. Perhaps you're just rushing your defense in your shortsighted rage at what someone else on the Internet wrote about your opinions?

These aren't minor errors. They completely change the message of your post. When you say "could care less" instead of "couldn't care less", you insinuate that you already have some level of interest in something and you have the ability to care less. Saying you cannot care less insinuates that your level of interest is zero, which means it's impossible to care less.

I love how people always assume I'm breaking the rules that I wrote when I "offtopic" about grammar and spelling. I also wrote the grammar and spelling rule. I, more than almost anyone else on this website, know the importance of proper spelling and grammar. If you're trying to sound intelligent, use proper spelling and grammar. And for Pete's sake, don't use chat acronyms in a debate.

Oh, by the way, you have some comma splices in there too. Thought you ought to know.

I know they aren't working on the port until the PS3 version is done! That's the whole point haha. PS3 FF13 releases in Japan when it's complete. The game is localized for both regions and then work begins on the port of the X360 versions. FF13 was built from the ground up for the PS3 using the RSX, the machines have completely different architecture. The White Engine that Square Enix is using in FF13 was built specifically for use on the PS3. The port isn't going to be a quick process. So that means the US and Euro PS3 version of FF13 will be sitting there complete but NOT shipped and sold in retail until the X360 version is ready to do the same. All of this because Microsoft paid square enix to hold the PS3 version and make both platforms have the same street date. This situation is similar to how GTA4 was treated. See how the US and European PS3 users are still waiting? That's the wait I'm talking about.
Uh, no. The localization team is not the development team. The development team works on the port while the localization team works on the translation. Translations typically take half a year for RPGs. A port shouldn't take more than a couple of months.

Also, the PS3 is harder to code for. Porting from PS3 to 360 is ridiculously easy. Porting from 360 to PS3 is harder.

LOL. Just because you don't know what "What They Play" is doesn't make it any less reliable. You probably don't even know what NeoGaf is which is really something to LOL about but that's besides the point. I wasn't referring to "What They Play" the site specifically, I was referring to who posted the Article, John Davison. You know who was on that "Bonus Round" that you linked to? Dan Hsu, Former Editor In Chief at EGM. You know who Dan Hsu worked under when he was at EGM? Oh yeah it was John Davison. Ever heard of Electronic Gaming Monthly or Playstation Magazine? Yeah he ran those publications and then he moved on to be the co-founder of What They Play. I think I know Industry Experts. Anyone can find information thru google on popular sites. It's all about knowing which people's articles to read. The only out of the loop nobody here is...
Way to assume I don't know what NeoGAF is. See, I read the news. I've seen NeoGAF cited numerous times as a reliable source. I have never once seen What They Play.

And you would think such a prestigious fellow would choose a better outlet for his breaking news article. Oh wait, that's because he's not a prestigious fellow. He did not run EGM. He was a writer for some of its articles. He did not run PSM. He was a writer for some of its articles. He was the editorial director for a while. Big deal. That means nothing. There are many ranks above that.

Funny how I googled his name and even Wikipedia'd it and he only shows up as a side-mention when compared to Hsu. Hell he doesn't even have his own page. Hsu does. You would think the guy above Hsu would have his own page if he were so important?

He's just some guy who co-founded a website about "The Parents Guide to Video Games" (Funny, like you, he neglects proper punctuation as well. It really says a lot more about someone's reputation than you think). It's not even a news site! He posted a rumor about something that is completely unsubstantiated and no other site (other than the massive failure that is GameSpot) reported it.

Nowhere did I say "insane tech, or hugely innovative" I said a MASSIVE upgrade isn't required because of the specs resemble a Wii-like architecture. You know not being to complex from it's predecessor. It's like you didn't even read that.
If you aren't even going to update the tech, it's not a new console. It's a revised console. It would be the PSThree.

People often say the Wii is just a Gamecube with motion controls. Those people are idiots. The Wii is at least 1.5x as powerful as the Gamecube. Just because they didn't bother with HD 1080p 1000-cell processors doesn't mean it's a Gamecube with motion controls.

(Also, to->too)
