You know, you can find these things out with about three seconds of searching. Hell, my interest in Final Fantasy 13 is so minimal, I wouldn't even say "zero" is an appropriate number to represent it. In fact, it is negative. I purposely avoid all information about Final Fantasy 13 due to how much I hate the franchise. And I STILL know the answers to those questions.

Release date? One has not been given. That means you're looking at Summer 2009 at the earliest.

Consoles? Versus XIII is only on PS3. The real game is coming out on PS3 in Japan, then America, then it will be ported to 360 for Americans after the launch of the PS3 version. Last I heard about the third spin-off, it was canceled or indefinitely postponed.

What about Gran Tourismo? I'm not a huge fan of the driving games, but my understanding is that nothing comes close to matching the realism of Gran Tourismo. There's probably something else I'm forgetting too... Little Big Planet maybe? That's unique and interesting looking. Then there's the Bluray thing, of course, but that's a whole other can of worms.

I'm actually kind of disappointed.

The best way I can liken the 3 systems:

Wii - Ball and cup.
X-Box - Ball and cup with string that breaks often.
PS3 - Ball and cup... with lasers.

That pretty much summed up all previous mini-trailers and added a bunch of awesome stuff. That trailer was incredible.
Pre-rendered stuff: Unbelievable! Especially the people O.O
In-Game stuff: Still looks amazing, one of, if not the best, in-game graphics I've seen.

With the amazing graphics and gameplay footage, it seems like it'll be a whole lot better than 10-12 were. I will be keeping my hopes up for this one

It does kind of annoy me, however, that it's going on the Xbox since it's one of the reasons I got a PS3 aside from things like MGS4, GoW3, and Killzone 2. But, it'll be better in the long run since there's a lot of Xbox owners that want this game w/o spending extra money on a PS3.

I'm very disappointed. They chose to release it on the Xbox, and I was so convinced it would be a PS3 exclusive. Then again, Blu-ray stomps on everything. I will not have very many rants when I see its performance as far as graphics go comparatively.

Xbox fans truly did get off lucky.

Square did once say they would make it an exclusive, if I'm not mistaken. I'm simply stating that I was disappointed. Not unhappy about it being on both consoles because, hell, it's already on the PS3.

Honesty time - I'm less happy that 360 got the game than I am over the fact that the PS3 is looking more like a blu-ray player and less like a game console every day.

Technically, the games are Blu-rays, so. . .
I think you get my point.

But I respect your opinion. I can still see why most people like Xbox better, anyway. Not like I'm one of them, but. . . yeah.

In the future, Blu-ray has the capability of completely replacing DVD's.

. . .Not like it's really going to happen.

But it will be more popular, and that Blu-ray feature on the PS3 will look more and more appetizing to people who want both combinations, anyway.

How dare a video game developer give us the option of two systems to play their game on, or giving people with low incomes and the ability to have only one console an easier decision on the one they want based on pre-existing libraries!

Those bastards!

All games should be exclusive to one console only, thus forcing consumers to spend over $1,000 just to play their favorite games!
