Re: I fell soooo bad
That really sad. Reminds me of my cousin's dog who was about 7 months old got ran over recently. He had internal bleeding, a leg that was rotating in the air, etc... They had to put him to sleep. It was a better choice than suffering. Poor Tucker and whatever my cousin's dog's name was.

Re: I fell soooo bad
I was looking for someone to catch that.
You know, it's often said that it's best not to get emotionally attached to other beings. That way, you won't be torn apart when tragedy strikes. Better yet, learn to be generally apathetic. I find that it really helps. |

I also don't see why you would make a thread like this when StormKlowd61 kept this more private and secluded in his own profile. Did you ask him whether you could publicize this information on the forums? Doubt it. He would've put it on the forums himself. He could have had in mind that he wanted to keep this tragedy out of our lives, or that he wanted to tell this information to the closest of his friends, ie the people who regularly visit his profile.

Re: I fell soooo bad
Does it make me a bad person when I don't really care what happened to the dog?

Re: I fell soooo bad
I was on a city bus last summer and I saw a man drive straight into a dog with his car. It looked pretty ruthless when he just drove off.

Valid point, however, I didn't see StormKlowd61 get upset or offended that this news was posted on the forums. On topic: Sorry to hear about Tuckers passing D: |

Also - yes, sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately it does happen. I myself have had to give dogs away, have seen dogs run over (never had one of my own dogs get run over though). Worst one was probably that my friend has a dog who, while running to grab a ball, got his legs caught in a grating and pretty much shattered a lot of bones. That was not too fun to see. |

Re: I fell soooo bad
Umm...
Anyway, things happen in life. We need to deal with it one way or another. It was a good thing that your friends came to your side. My professor's cat 'Hector' died of old age 2 months back. Hector lived until he was over 18 human years. That is a very long time, and to lose a cat who has been by your side for 18 years is incomprehensible. Even so, they did not cling on to this heart-breaking feeling, but instead did their best to put it aside. They did not put it aside by forgetting that he ever existed, but enough to not stop your every day living. I advice you to do the same. Don't become fixed to that incident. Let time pass, and the thought will pass too. Rest in peace, Tucker Jeremiah Wilbur. Keeping both Hector and Tucker in my prayers.
