Re: Auto Fail Button.
Then again, it should ask you how many goods to get before auto-failing, considering some songs are un-PFC-able, and if the point of it is to make it more convenient to AAA something or do better, you don't really want it to auto-fail you at the slightest good.

yeah, i was thinking about that. i was going say something, but i just wanted to get a fague idea about and see what other people had to say, and we could all make it to one final piece. i was thinking something like the options menu. you pick what you want on, click the button again and it goes away.

Yup. Right as you get that good, average, or boo, when the song immediately stops, that's where you know you didn't get a perfect. (If you want to know if you get a boo, just look at your life bar. Every boo brings it down.)

Re: Auto Fail Button.
You know, maybe on the right hand side of the screen when you are in the middle of playing a song, it shows how many goods, avgs, etc. you have so far until the end of the song. Kind of like MP, when you play and viewers will see what your highest combo is and PA.

Re: Auto Fail Button.
I wouldn't have it end the song, I would have it change the background to something like solid red. Or perhaps write "FAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILFAILYOUSUCKFAILFAILFAIL" all over the background. Maybe "IMPERFECTION! IMPERFECTION!". Whatever.
Also note that there is already a settings menu, and that most of the options in there never actually made it into the game. Final note: Boo screenshrinking. Be a real man.

Re: Auto Fail Button.
Auto fail button is no good, it would take out the point of boos. Also people could make their game count like 40,000 in one day.

For example, you set it to 3 goods. You get a good, it turns to a white 1, you get another, it turns to a white 2, and when you get your third good, the number turns into a glaring red 3, and you can choose whether you want to continue for the fun of it, or just fail out and start over then and there. You can put this at the bottom, instead of the score in #, because people usually don't care exactly what their score is anyway. |

Re: Auto Fail Button.
OR, we could just wait till they get speed mods to eliminate this problem AND the annoyance of screenshrinking at once. So basically, it's just a question of how much time it would take to implement.

Re: Auto Fail Button.
Even after they have speedmods, inexperienced players may not be able to keep up with just how many goods/avg's they've had. When someone is playing only to improve their score, they might not be happy when they finish the song and see that they've done worse than before. It'd still be nice to keep a direct watch on how well you're actually doing through a song; or at least the choice of doing so.
