bad customer service and bad customers

I'm going to be working in a customer service area forever. xD

A night shift at the hospital, I had this lady who was post-op her total hip replacement. She was lovely at the beginning of the shift, and when I introduced myself 'hi I'm ... student nurse looking after you today', she had nothing against it. Later during the shift, she buzzed the patient bell and asked if she could go to the toilet. 1. It was day 1 after her HIP replacement. 2. The physiotherapists tried to get her out of bed just to STAND that day, and as soon as she stood up she felt dizzy and sat back down immediately, so they said that they were going to let her rest for a day and try again the next. I tried explaining to her that, and she was saying, 'No, I CAN get out of bed. You don't know what you're talking about!' We were planning to use a bed pan instead. Which would've been a million times more convenient for her. So my supervising nurse came, and also explained to her that she had just had a hip replacement done, and we didn't want her to dislodge anything/fall over but she insisted on getting out of bed to go to the toilet. We decided to help her stand up. She immediately felt dizzy, and couldn't take any steps. So she sat back down. We said 'i told you so!' (in the nicest way possible) and explained to her we can use the bed pan for her instead. To which didn't end up happening, and she told us she didn't need to go to the toilet anymore... About 30 minutes later, she rung the patient bell again. When I got to her bed, she was trying to get out. x_x To which I said, "What are you doing? We just tried to get you out of bed, and you became dizzy straight away. I don't want you falling over or breaking your hip!" She replies with, "How dare you leave me alone! I've been here all by myself and you left me. What if I need something, like a coffee or tea? I want to get out of bed. I want a responsible working adult to help me. Why am I even in hospital?". x______x I tried to tell her that there were a million other things to do as well as looking after the bay, and told her if she needed anything she could just ask. And she responds with, "Oh". Anyway, she was confused for awhile, but thankfully eventually fell asleep.

Besides that, I've been hit on by a lot of the oldies and have had a bunch of marriage proposals. xD Fun stuff.
