So after talking to bmah about the old Spyro games, I had the urge to re-play YotD and 100% it. He used to frequent a spyro forum and it drew my interest. I'd played the games a hell of a lot when I was 6 or 7 so I wanted to try them out again.
If you don't know what the Spyro games are, here are some little pieces of information:

So I'm going to be playing this again and (hopefully) getting a 100% complete game within a month.
So how I'm going to be tracking my progress on the % I am complete the game is with the Atlas feature that the game has. It looks like this:

There are four main worlds throughout the game, where each level is accessible through them. It's sort of like Super Mario (the one that Siglemic got the new WR for a bit ago) where you are in the art gallery / building and each level is a painting. Instead of one building, there are four, and levels are portals. Here is an example of the first world, Sunrise Spring World:

There are gems throughout with other characters you can interact with. The one in the cage is another character you can play as (this case being Sheila) of which you must pay the guy with the money sack (moneybags) gems to use.
I think that's enough information for now. Below will be my progress so far.
If you don't know what the Spyro games are, here are some little pieces of information:
Spyro the Dragon is a action/platform game series starring the video game character Spyro, which was originally published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation.
The first game was a huge success and after three games on the original PlayStation, Insomniac Games went on to create the Ratchet & Clank series while Spyro was left in the hands of Universal Interactive Studios (now as Vivendi Universal Games).
The rights of this franchise are now owned by Activision who published their first game Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure.
The series now has thirteen games in total with many sequels and spin-off games following on later consoles.
The Spyro series has sold more than 20 million units worldwide.
