    I do too many portraits.

    Decided to take a break from animation for a day and get back to drawing.

    Drawn on a Wacom Intuos in Photoshop CS5 in about 3 and a half hours.

    I feel like whenever I take a good long break from things, it improves upon my skills more than just sitting there and practicing it. Maybe it's time to take a break from animation for a while haha, I've been working on that stupid thing non-stop.

                          It would be inspiring if I knew wtf to do even if I had a tablet (and no, "just practice a lot" doesn't count)

                              Discouraging because he feels like a peasant compared to this mastery of beautiful art.

                              This is amazing, I wish you were taking requests. Was completely speechless when I first saw the painted version.

                                              I'm overly impressed by how much you improved, haha. Compared to all your other portraits, this one is probably my favourite one from you.

                                              I see an improvement with the way you draw and colour hair, however it still looks a bit flat and monotonous in colour. Could use a bit more defining line strokes and some more shades and tints of her hair colour to really make it look a lot more realistic. Skin tones look flawless and I really like the eyes and shadows.

                                                      I'm still struggling to get the right technique for realistic hair, but I think I'm starting to at least zero in on something that works.

                                                      I'll take requests as long as it's not anime or something stupid, all of these go into my portfolio, so try to choose a subject that people would want to look at. (Hence why I normally just draw cute chicks haha)
