    Ye Olde Photoshop Shoppe [Version 2]


    THREAD VERSION HISTORY

    Version 2 - Complete shop overhaul, updated thread guide, new rules regarding the queue, July 1st, 2008

    ABOUT YE OLDE PHOTOSHOP SHOPPE
    After becoming active on the Flash Flash Revolution forums I decided to open the first YOPSS back in December of last year. The thread died when I lost interest after becoming overwhelmed with request. This revival of YOPSS will include some changes to hopefully help me cope with large numbers of requests.

    WHAT YOU'RE GETTING
    I've been working with Photoshop for over a year and consider myself somewhat resourceful with the software. I do a variety of kinds of graphics for the Shoppe as you will be able to read below. To see examples of my work skip to the bottom of this thread. Look at FFR Profiles, Completed Requests, and Simfile Graphics.

    THREAD GUIDE
    I. Rules of the Thread
    1. Follow ALL forum rules when posting in this thread.
    2. Do not use this thread for off-topic chatter. Posts not related to YOPSS will be reported to a moderator.
    3. I reserve the right to discard, reject or ignore any request that I feel is rude or inappropriate.
    4. You may not use any work that I complete for you until I have received credits for services rendered. If the request was free then you may use them immediately.
    5. Do not post requests anywhere on my profile. I will ignore them.
    6. In order for you to receive anything that I make for you you must have PMs enabled. I will not do any of the following: post it in the thread, e-mail it to you, post it on your wall, or IM you.

    II. Shop Protocol
    1. Specify as much as you can when requesting anything. Include things like colors, themes, dimensions, matching items, etc.
    2. I will go back and touch-up/redo requests if it is needed. However, this can be avoided by following the previous guideline.
    3. After I have looked over your request, you will be placed on the queue.
    4. The maximum limit of requests in the queue is 10.
    5. Once the queue is full I will no longer take requests until a spot is open.
    6. I will ONLY work on requests in the queue. I will not take time to work on pending requests outside the queue. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    7. Once your request is completed I will PM with you the finished results and pricing information.
    8. Please respond to this PM ASAP with your thoughts and notification that you have sent the proper amount of credits. (Now is also the time to let me know if any changes should be made.)
    9. Once you have responded and we have reached a point of mutual satisfaction with the finished requests, I will add your name and the items I've completed for you to the Completed Requests list.
    10. If you decide to use a banner or background on your profile, I will place your name and a link to your profile on the FFR Profiles list.
    11. Should you use a banner or background in a stepfile, please provide a link to the stepfile so I can add it to my Simfile Graphics list.

    III. Appreciation
    Showing appreciation for my work is not required (of course). If you like what I've done for you enough, then feel free to give me a spot on your Random Thoughts or a line in your signature. I'm grateful for anything.

              i would greatly enjoy a profile background preferably with a call of duty 4 or winds of plague theme. I don't really care which but which ever you think came out better. Please and thank you

                  Id like a background of something cool from Persona 3. Characters prefered with the background being dark colors, black or blue and cool text saying Persona 3. Thanks

                      arrekusuof93, why not put together a little team to help out with the requests. maybe things can be better if some of the photoshop efforts are unified. any credits rewarded could be pooled by a certain percent and used for a tourne maybe.

                      or we can just keep it the way it is and let people compete for credits .

                          Signature that says Waffl3 and has vectors and all that good stuff. For size 430px × 120px
                          Edit: if you have a good font but it doesnt support numbers, you can make the 3 an e.

                              Before I begin working on the backgrounds I need some information. Do you mean you want a background that acts as a banner and background, or do you mean you just want a background? ... If it's the latter, then it probably won't match with whatever banner you have.

                                  If its directed at me, then yea, I probably do need both...you did both of mine initially...I think, brb, let me check.

                                  Ok...maybe I just need a banner then, not a background >.< But everything I said above for it I want it to be in a banner, just stick Gun92 in cool silver font in one of the corners

                                          Could you make some simple simfile graphics for me?

                                          The graphics are for Saint Goes Marching, by The Saint. I just want a couple of things. I even got the elements together for you.
                                          I want these wings:

                                          to be placed behind this guy's back:

                                          then, on the background, put the winged sillhouette close to the bottom-right-hand corner, with a little edge blending into the background. I want the text to just say "Saint Goes Marching" (without the quotes, of course) to the left of the sillhouette. Other than that, put a little blue abstract design going down the left. The rest should be white.

                                          I want the banner to be white, but the wings (JUST the wings, not the guy) should be placed in the center of the banner with a LOT of blending. And it should say "Saint Goes Marching" with "The Saint" underneath it in smaller text (no quotes).

                                              though banner should have my name or something, and colors should be black red and limegreen and whatever else you want to put in it.
