NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Say it aint so?!?!?!?! WHY IS FATE SO CRUEL?!?!?!
Just ****ing great, now Konami is going to **** up everything in the world of ITG. in a way I blame SuperNova for this cause if it wasn't for that, DDR would have been DEAD!!! This just ruined my whole night, and now I'm gonna have nightmares about what kind of ****ty songs Konami is going to put in the next instalment of ITG... IF THERE IS GOING TO BE ONE!!!
This leaves alot of unanswered questions... like what will become of ITG3, and will Konami have us waiting EVEN LONGER for ITG2 home version cause they might alter it a bit? Will we see Kyle Ward songs in BOTH DDR AND ITG?!?!?!Comment

Re: Konami has acquired In The Groove
That means that Konami might force 11-13 footers, mines, hand moves, and mods in like say "DDR SuperNova 2" or even "DDR: ITG edition". Those are just my thoughts.Comment

Re: Konami has acquired In The Groove
Anyway, I'd hate to agree with a few others, but it's likely Konami will bury ITG. Konami has only taken the intellectual property rights, so that raises doubts for continuing ITG development. I never like ITG much, but at least it provided good competition for Konami's franchise. WIthout ITG's boom in popularity, DDR Supernova probably wouldn't have been released. And even if Supernova was released regardless, their stepcharts wouldn't have been as good as their stepcharts were after the release of ITG.Originally posted by CMGITG fanboyism.
However, I do think ITG3 will still be released. Apparently, the game is nearly done. Shouldn't be hard for Konami to ship them out and make a few extra bucks out of it.
Of course, ideally Konami will incorporate at least a few of the ideas taken from ITG. DDR is supposed to be a game that appeals to all...Now's the time to make it real.
PS I also heard ITG2 CS will be nixed. Not sure about the sources, though.

Re: Konami has acquired In The Groove
If ITG didn't post any type of threat toward the DDR series of games, they would not go as far as to acquire its property rights. Why they wouldn't take advantage of that is completely beyond me.
A good move on Konami's part would be to continue both series. Why? Same reason pepsi and coke both exist even though they're owned by Coca Cola. This really could just mean more money for Konami.clairmai lol hvam lolComment
