    Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy

    I was a big fan of the books, and the movie is looking much, much better than I had hoped. It looks like they may have taken a few "creative liberties" with the story line, but overall, it looks like the best movie version anyone could have hoped for.

      Mead....Most books gone movie didn't turn out that well....Only a handful like LOTR and HP. I'm hoping for a good one though.

          Bad news, bears.


          The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie is bad. Really bad. You just won't believe how vastly, staggeringly, jaw-droppingly bad it is. I mean, you might think that The Phantom Menace was a hopelessly misguided attempt to reinvent a much-loved franchise by people who, though well-intentioned, completely failed to understand what made the original popular - but that's just peanuts to the Hitchhiker's movie.

              I really think that people overestimate how bad movies made from books are.
              The only movie I've seen that was made from a book that I didn't like was A Series of Unfortunate Events.

              That movie sucked. It was a horrible idea to fit 3 books into a movie.
              Basically, it was like.

                      I read the whole review, it doesn't sound like an exaggeration. What a shitty thing to do to a good book.

                              Wait...did they try squeezing the entire series into one film?

                              Also, wasnt the screen play finished by Douglas Adams before he died?

                              Also, IMDb.com seems to give it a good review.
