Odd how Marleau, Thornton (besides his 3 assists in game 2), Heatley haven't done much. Actually, it isn't odd. Not cool either. Sharks don't have necks do they? Step it up! Beast mode!

I'm pretty sure Beast mode as been re-dubbed "Ryan Kesler".

Haha. For this series all Sharks players need to go in beast mode to take down the Red Wings. The trouts, flounders, and stripe basses need to evolve into sharks. IF, and IF the Sharks get through to the next round we can re-dub the term.

Come on, Wings, do it one more time! Blue line and penalty kill have been really solid, and the ease with which they're breaking through neutral zone traps has been astounding.

I'm just going to close this series with one observation: It's nice to know that your whole team is behind you--unless you're the goalie.

Haha. Definitely against them, never doubted them. I never doubt the Red Wings in any series unless the opposing team is up by 1 and there's .0000001 time left.

DET/SJ: And Sharks fans can breathe a HEAVY sigh of relief. They've finally put away the Red Wings. This one came down to the wire, but it's over for the Wings. Our final matchups are set.

Western Conference
Vancouver/San Jose

Eastern Conference
Boston/Tampa Bay

Get picking, folks.

And, as a side note, look who's just closed out a perfect semis round! Also, the Sharks win keeps Lumph from taking a grand turd and going 0-4.

Out of the 14 participants, the record for this round was: 4-10. For the 2nd ranked team, San Jose were major underdogs on FFR. They proved us wrong.

Onto the conference finals.
Can a bear survive being struck by lightning?
How about a battle of sharks and whales?

This will be answered over the next 2 weeks.

As for round 2 stuff,
