What the hell? Why? That's just uncomfortable.
Which style is right for you? (New players read!)

actually yes i have(i could beat you any day anyway)... yes speed is a key but some people have speed but cant read basic patterns.also it does matter on how fast you can read the arrows and listen to the beat.(thats the whole point to playing is it not?)Originally posted by waffydudeYou apparently haven't played some of the faster keyboard songs... At a certain point, it's not all reading, and your finger speed itself starts to matter quite a bit more.
speed matters but you need to know how to use it.

I actually think it makes it easier. It does for me, anyway. I think that might just be because I have huge hands. I don't really know. I can read all the faster songs with ease, my problem was always that I couldn't move my fingers fast enough. Then I tried using the numberpad and it made it a whole lot easier. It isn't uncomfortable at all. (For Me Anyway)Comment

i have big hands too and using the arrow keys is REALLY uncomfortable...but i got used to it i guess....and the numpad is really comfortable...and not too noisy either XDUNLEASH THE DRAGON

I prefer to find a girl taking a nap at the local preschool, and then make love to them as they scream in my large, sound-proofed, white van. I then make love on their face, and throw them in an ice-chest of bleach. For pillow talk, I usually say, "Your parents can't hear you," and keep their teddy bear as a momento. You could call me a hopeless romantic, I guess.Comment

I just saw this and all I can say is...
medeocre...
Maybe because you've only really played one style the whole time while playing SM, take a period (a month maybe) to briefly master every other style like I did a while ago.Comment

exactly. like ROATF. All patterns are readable (even edit to some extent) but to be able to move your fingers fast enough is a feat very few indexers have accomplished (Izzy.)Originally posted by waffydudeYou apparently haven't played some of the faster keyboard songs... *OT* also it's alot easier to read arrows if you're from a music backround. ex. my friend's a drummer and he was passing dendrite the same week he joined. even though he's one handed Xp.Comment

K, need help here. I don't really know how Indexers feel about gallops. Especially in comparison to 4.

I never said there weren't any people who had speed but couldn't use it well. Of course there are. But my point still stands... Once the song gets fast, you'll need a combination of reading skill AND finger speed.Originally posted by leadafroactually yes i have(i could beat you any day anyway)... yes speed is a key but some people have speed but cant read basic patterns.also it does matter on how fast you can read the arrows and listen to the beat.(thats the whole point to playing is it not?)Originally posted by waffydudeYou apparently haven't played some of the faster keyboard songs... About you being able to beat me any day, I'm not saying you're wrong. Though I've actually never seen any of your scores, so I'm curious to now. You're a 1 hander right? It seems you'd have to be one of the very best of them then, since I can often match/beat scores by people like Kefit and Kilga... Of course, I use 2 hands, but that doesn't matter since you already said you could beat me at any time. :PComment

RE: Single hand Three Fingers
[quote="Tonberry_Kid"]Pros=Like index players, you have good accuracy, decent speed, you can handle rolls(Final Fantasy 7 Battle),gallops are standardly hard(is standardly even a word?(Final Fantasy 7 Battle(again)))
Cons=Itu no wat idk wat frekin hand u use ok ppl say 1 handed is handicaped. well actutally 1 handed is realy hard on some songs(a.k.a flight of the bumble bee) so.. i think 2 handed would be easyer im talking handicaped but who the @#$% cares it there @#$%&*$ choice98% of American teens use or have tried pot. If you are part of the 2% that hasn\'t, put this in your profile.
